Abstract

A wearable device includes one or more sensors coupled to a wearable device structure that includes first and second outer surfaces, an interior, a first end and a second end. The wearable device structure includes and has a unique user ID. The one or more sensors acquire user information selected from of at least one of, a user's activities, behaviors, habit information, health parameters, medical monitoring and user monitoring. A plurality of magnets are at the first end and a plurality of magnets at the second end, with at least a portion of the magnets being at least partially encased with a material that redistributes a magnet's magnetic field. The wearable device is worn with the first and second ends being coupled by overlapping at least a portion of the first end magnets to at least a portion of the second end magnets.

Claims (41)

1 . A wearable device, comprising:

one or more sensors coupled to a wearable device structure that includes first and second outer surfaces, an interior, a first end and a second end, the wearable device structure including and having a unique user ID, the one or more sensors acquiring user information selected from of at least one of, a user's activities, behaviors, habit information, health parameters, medical monitoring and user monitoring;

a plurality of magnets at the first end and a plurality of magnets at the second end, with at least a portion of the magnets being at least partially encased with a material that redistributes a magnet's magnetic field; and

the wearable device being worn with the first and second ends being coupled by overlapping at least a portion of the first end magnets to at least a portion of the second end magnets.

2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the material redistributes at least a portion of their magnetic fields, at body or room temperature.

3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the material redistributes at least a portion of their magnetic fields, at body or room temperature from a front surface of a magnet to a back surface of a magnet.

4 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the material totally or partially reverses a magnet's polarity.

5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein an amount of redistribution and change in polarity change of a magnet is 50% to 100%.

6 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the material creates a polarity redistribution is in an amount of 180 degrees.

7 . The device of claim 1 , wherein a spacing is included between the material and a magnet.

8 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the spacing is 0.1 mm to 5 mm.

9 . The device of claim 7 , wherein the spacing is 100% of an area around the magnet.

10 . The device of claim 7 , wherein the spacing is less than 100%.

11 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the material is a magnetic permeable material.

12 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the material is a metal.

13 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the material includes a ferromagnetic material.

14 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the first and second ends can be reversibility overlapped.

15 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the magnets are configured to be exposed to a temperature range of 200° F. to 400° F. during, processing, cleaning and/or manufacturing of the wearable device structure.

16 . The device of claim 15 , wherein at least a portion of the magnets are M (212° F.)-H (248° F.) SH (302° F.)-UH (356° F.) and EH (392° F.).

17 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the magnets have a size of: (i) length, 0.5 mm to 30 mm; (ii), width, 0.5 mm to 30 mm; and (iii) thickness or depth, 0.5 mm to 10 mm.

17 . The device of claim 1 , wherein a distance between overlapped magnets on the first end to magnets of the second is 0.1 to 10 mm.

18 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the magnets are distanced from a first or second exterior surface of the wearable device structure in a range of 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm.

19 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the magnets have a first section with a first polarity and a second portion with a second polarity.

20 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of adjacent magnets at the first end and at least a portion of adjacent magnets at the second end have opposite polarity.

21 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the magnets are sealed in the wearable device structure.

22 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of adjacent magnets at a first end and at least a portion of adjacent magnets at a second end are separated a defined distance from each other.

23 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the magnets operate at a selectable strength of from N30 to N52.

24 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the magnets are M (212° F.)-H (248° F.) SH (302° F.)-UH (356° F.) and EH (392° F.).

25 . A device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the magnets are magnetized through at least one of their widths or thickness.

26 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the wearable device structure includes an undercut structure for receiving at least a portion of the magnets.

27 . The device of claim 26 , wherein the undercut structure enables the magnets to be slid into the wearable device structure and be retained by the wearable device itself.

28 . The device of claim 26 , wherein the undercut structure enables the magnets to be retained in the wearable device structure without the need for adhesives other retaining elements or compositions.

29 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the device is a mobile device.

30 . The device of claim 29 , further comprising:

a memory;

a memory controller;

one or more processing units (CPU's);

a peripherals interface;

a Network Systems circuitry;

an input/output (I/O) subsystem.

31 . The device of claim 1 , wherein at least one of a sensor acquires information selected from at least one of a wearable device user's activities, behaviors and habit information.
