Abstract

A vascular device may include a tubular element. The tubular element may include a plurality of longitudinal sections. The plurality of longitudinal sections may include a first longitudinal section having a first austenitic finish temperature and a second longitudinal section having a second austenitic finish temperature different than the first austenitic finish temperature. The first longitudinal section may include a first material. The second longitudinal section may include a second material different than the first material. The first longitudinal section may include a first shape set. The second longitudinal section may include a second shape set different than the first shape set. The first longitudinal section may be configured to provide torquability. The second longitudinal section may be configured to provide flexibility. At least one of the first longitudinal section and the second longitudinal section may be shape set to a straight configuration. The tubular element may include a pattern.

Claims (38)

1 . A vascular device comprising:

a wire having a first austenitic finish temperature and comprising a first shape set;

a hypotube distal to the wire,

the hypotube comprising a lumen, a portion of the wire non-releasably coupled inside the lumen of the hypotube at a joint,

the hypotube having a second austenitic finish temperature and comprising a second shape set,

the second austenitic finish temperature different than the first austenitic finish temperature; and

a textile structure coupled to the hypotube,

the textile structure comprising a plurality of bulbs and a plurality of necks.

2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the first shape set is different than the second shape set.

3 . A vascular device comprising:

a wire having a first austenitic finish temperature and comprising a first shape set; and

a tubular member comprising a lumen, the tubular member having a second austenitic finish temperature and comprising a second shape set, the second austenitic finish temperature different than the first austenitic finish temperature, a portion of the wire non-releasably coupled inside the lumen of the tubular member at a joint.

4 . The device of claim 3 , wherein the tubular member comprises:

a first longitudinal section having the second austenitic finish temperature and comprising the second shape set; and

a second longitudinal section having a third austenitic finish temperature and comprising a third shape set, the third austenitic finish temperature different than the second austenitic finish temperature.

5 . The device of claim 3 , wherein the tubular member is distal to the wire.

6 . The device of claim 3 , wherein the first shape set is different than the second shape set.

7 . The device of claim 3 , wherein the tubular member comprises a hypotube.

8 . The device of claim 3 , wherein the tubular member comprises a braided tubular structure.

9 . The device of claim 3 , further comprising a textile structure coupled to the tubular member, the textile structure comprising a plurality of bulbs and a plurality of necks.

10 . The device of claim 3 , wherein the tubular member comprises a cut pattern.

11 . A vascular device comprising:

a tubular element comprising a plurality of longitudinal sections, the plurality of longitudinal sections including:

a first longitudinal section having a first austenitic finish temperature, and

a second longitudinal section having a second austenitic finish temperature different than the first austenitic finish temperature, the second longitudinal section distal to the first longitudinal section; and

a textile structure non-releasably coupled to the tubular element, the textile structure comprising a plurality of bulbs and a plurality of necks, the textile structure distal to the second longitudinal section.

12 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the plurality of longitudinal sections further comprises:

a third longitudinal section having a third austenitic finish temperature different than the first austenitic finish temperature and the second austenitic finish temperature; and

a fourth longitudinal section having a fourth austenitic finish temperature different than the first austenitic finish temperature, the second austenitic finish temperature, and the third austenitic finish temperature.

13 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the first longitudinal section comprises a first material and the second longitudinal section comprises a second material different than the first material.

14 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the first longitudinal section comprises a first material and the second longitudinal section comprises the first material.

15 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the first longitudinal section comprises a first shape set and the second longitudinal section comprises a second shape set different than the first shape set.

16 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the first longitudinal section comprises a first shape set and the second longitudinal section comprises the first shape set.

17 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the second longitudinal section is distal to the first longitudinal section, and wherein the first longitudinal section is configured to provide torquability and the second longitudinal section is configured to provide flexibility.

18 . The device of claim 11 , wherein at least one of the first longitudinal section and the second longitudinal section is shape set to a straight configuration.

20 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the tubular element comprises a cut pattern.

21 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the hypotube comprises a cut pattern.
