Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for providing trusted service management services. According to one embodiment, a system can include at least one service provider gateway operable to receive and transmit messages with multiple service providers; at least one mobile network operator gateway operable to receive and transmit messages with multiple mobile network operators; at least one provisioning gateway operable to transmit mobile device application data with multiple mobile devices and to receive messages from the plurality of mobile devices. The system can further include a processor operable to execute computer-executable instructions to: facilitate service provider communications by providing a common service provider interface for the service providers; facilitate mobile network operator communications by providing a common mobile network operator interface for the mobile network operators; facilitate provisioning multiple mobile device applications with the mobile devices; and facilitate communications with the mobile devices.

Claims (64)

1. A computer-implemented method comprising:

receiving, by one or more computers comprising one or more processors, a first plurality of messages from a plurality of service providers, wherein at least two of the plurality of service providers utilize different messaging formats;

processing, by the one or more computers, the first plurality of messages from the plurality of service providers based on a common service provider messaging standard;

receiving, by the one or more computers, a second plurality of messages from a plurality of mobile network operators, wherein at least two of the plurality of mobile network operators utilize different messaging formats;

processing, by the one or more computers, the second plurality of messages from the plurality of mobile network operators based on a common mobile network operator messaging standard;

receiving, by the one or more computers, a third plurality of messages from a plurality of mobile devices, wherein at least two of the plurality of mobile devices utilize different messaging formats;

processing, by the one or more computers, the third plurality of messages from the plurality of mobile devices based on a device protocol associated with the plurality of mobile devices; and

facilitating, by the one or more computers, communication of the first plurality of messages, the second plurality of messages, and third plurality of messages between the plurality of service providers, the plurality of mobile network operators, and the plurality of mobile devices.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving, by the one or more computers, a request to provision a mobile device application from a mobile device of the plurality of mobile devices;

determining, by the one or more computers, the mobile device can receive the requested mobile device application;

facilitating, by the one or more computers, installation of administrative software on the mobile device; and

facilitating, by the one or more computers, provisioning of the requested mobile device application on the secure element.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 , further comprising:

facilitating, by the one or more computers, management of application space on a secure element of the mobile device.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 , further comprising: authenticating, by the one or more computers, an end-user associated with the mobile device.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 2 , further comprising: facilitating, by the one or more computers, tracking a status associated with the mobile device and a status associated with the provisioned mobile device application.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising: managing, by the one or more computers, one or more workflows between the plurality of service providers, the plurality of mobile network operators, and the plurality of mobile devices.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

facilitating, by the one or more computers, customization and selection of services to each of the plurality of service providers and each of the plurality of mobile network operators.

8. A system comprising:

at least one memory storing computer-executable instructions; and

at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to access the at least one memory and to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

receive a first plurality of messages from a plurality of service providers, wherein at least two of the plurality of service providers utilize different messaging formats;

process the first plurality of messages from the plurality of service providers based on a common service provider messaging standard;

receive a second plurality of messages from a plurality of mobile network operators, wherein at least two of the plurality of mobile network operators utilize different messaging formats;

process the second plurality of messages from the plurality of mobile network operators based on a common mobile network operator messaging standard;

receive a third plurality of messages from a plurality of mobile devices, wherein at least two of the plurality of mobile devices utilize different messaging formats;

process the third plurality of messages from the plurality of mobile devices based on a device protocol associated with the plurality of mobile devices; and

facilitate communication of the first plurality of message, the second plurality of messages, and third plurality of messages between the plurality of service providers, the plurality of mobile network operators, and the plurality of mobile devices.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

receive a request to provision a mobile device application from a mobile device of the plurality of mobile devices;

determine the mobile device can receive the requested mobile device application;

facilitate installation of administrative software on the mobile device; and

facilitate provisioning of the requested mobile device application on the secure element.

10. The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

facilitate management of application space on a secure element of the mobile device.

11. The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

authenticate an end-user associated with the mobile device.

12. The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

facilitate tracking a status associated with the mobile device and a status associated with the provisioned mobile device application.

13. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

manage one or more workflows between the plurality of service providers, the plurality of mobile network operators, and the plurality of mobile devices.

14. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

facilitate customization and selection of services to each of the plurality of service providers and each of the plurality of mobile network operators.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:

receiving a first plurality of messages from a plurality of service providers, wherein at least two of the plurality of service providers utilize different messaging formats;

processing the first plurality of messages from the plurality of service providers based on a common service provider messaging standard;

receiving a second plurality of messages from a plurality of mobile network operators, wherein at least two of the plurality of mobile network operators utilize different messaging formats;

processing the second plurality of messages from the plurality of mobile network operators based on a common mobile network operator messaging standard;

receiving a third plurality of messages from a plurality of mobile devices, wherein at least two of the plurality of mobile devices utilize different messaging formats;

processing the third plurality of messages from the plurality of mobile devices based on a device protocol associated with the plurality of mobile devices; and

facilitating communication of the first plurality of messages, the second plurality of messages, and third plurality of messages between the plurality of service providers, the plurality of mobile network operators, and the plurality of mobile devices.

16. The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , the operations further comprising:

receiving a request to provision a mobile device application from a mobile device of the plurality of mobile devices;

determining the mobile device can receive the requested mobile device application;

facilitating installation of administrative software on the mobile device; and

facilitating provisioning of the requested mobile device application on the secure element.

17. The computer-readable medium of claim 16 , the operations further comprising:

facilitating management of application space on a secure element of the mobile device.

18. The computer-readable medium of claim 16 , the operations further comprising: facilitating tracking a status associated with the mobile device and a status associated with the provisioned mobile device application.

19. The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , the operations further comprising:

managing one or more workflows between the plurality of service providers, the plurality of mobile network operators, and the plurality of mobile devices.

20. The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , the operations further comprising: facilitating customization and selection of services to each of the plurality of service providers and each of the plurality of mobile network operators.
