Abstract
Polypeptides comprising variant vascular endothelial growth factor sequences are provided. The polypeptides are useful in cancer imaging, cancer diagnosis, monitoring and treatment as well as treatment of diseases characterized by excessive neovascularization.
Claims (2)
1. A polypeptide comprising an integrin-recognition RGD motif having a sequence selected from the group consisting of: SEQ ID NOs: 29-35, 37-40, 42-53, 55, and 55-64.
2. A composition comprising a polypeptide according to claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
