Abstract

Disclosed is an information communication terminal having a configuration in which it is possible to prevent a wrong operation of the information communication terminal due to an unconscious operation of an input equipment during operating an audio output equipment. That is, the information communication terminal includes a controller. The controller operates a detection sensor that detects an object approaching during operating the audio output equipment. And the controller controls a status of being input into the input equipment based on a detected result of the detection sensor.

Claims (24)

1. A mobile phone terminal, comprising:

a touch panel unit configured to receive input information;

a determining unit configured to determine whether the mobile phone terminal is in a telephone call mode;

a detecting unit configured to, in response to the mobile phone terminal being determined to be in a telephone call mode based on a determination result of the determining unit, output a wave and detect receiving the wave as an approach of an object; and

a controlling unit configured to carry out a control to nullify an operation to the touch panel based on the determination result by the determining unit and a detected result by the detecting unit.

2. The mobile phone terminal according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a power-saving controlling unit configured to carry out a control to increase or decrease electric power, which is supplied to the touch panel unit, based on a determination of whether the detecting unit detects the approach of the object.

3. The mobile phone terminal according to claim 2 , wherein the power-saving controlling unit is further configured to carry out a control to decrease an amount of electric power, which is supplied to the touch panel unit, to a predetermined value in response to the detecting unit detecting the approach of the object.

4. The mobile phone terminal according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a display unit configured to display information; and

a display controlling unit configured to carry out a control to increase or decrease an amount of electric power, which is supplied to the display unit, based on a determination of whether the detecting unit detects the approach of the object.

5. The mobile phone terminal according to claim 4 , wherein the display controlling unit is further configured to carry out a control to decrease the amount of electric power to a predetermined value in response to the detecting unit detecting the approach of the object.

6. The mobile phone terminal according to claim 1 , wherein the detecting unit is arranged near a receiving unit which outputs a voice signal.

7. The mobile phone terminal according to claim 1 , wherein the detecting unit is further configured to carry out an operation to detect the approaching of the object only if the determining unit determines that the mobile phone terminal is in a telephone call mode.

8. The mobile phone terminal according to claim 1 , wherein the wave output by the detecting unit is infrared light.

9. A mobile phone terminal, comprising:

touch panel means for inputting information;

determining means for determining whether the mobile phone terminal is in a telephone call mode;

detecting means for outputting, in response to the mobile phone terminal being determined to be in a telephone call mode based on a result determined by the determining means, a wave and for detecting receiving the wave as an approach of an object; and

controlling means for carrying out a control to nullify an operation to the touch panel based on the result determined by the determining means and a result detected by the detecting means.

10. A method for avoiding an unnecessary operation during a telephone call, the method comprising:

outputting, in response to the mobile phone terminal being determined to be in a telephone call mode, a wave and detecting receiving the wave as an approach of an object to a mobile phone terminal; and

nullifying an operation to a touch panel equipped in the mobile phone terminal in response to detecting receiving the wave as the approach of the object to the mobile phone terminal when in the telephone call mode.

11. The mobile phone terminal according to claim 1 , wherein the controlling unit is further configured to carry out a control to enable the operation to the touch panel in response to not receiving the wave after the controlling unit carries out the control to nullify the operation of the touch panel.
