1. A system for providing recommendations related to a service, the system comprising:

a memory that stores instructions;

a processor that executes the instructions to perform operations, the operations comprising:

receiving data from a first device associated with a service subscriber, wherein the data identifies an individual that is a fictional character;

creating, in response to a first use of the service by the service subscriber, a personalization profile for the service subscriber, wherein the personalization profile includes information from a profile of the individual;

providing a first recommendation to the second device associated with the service subscriber based on the personalization profile and in response to activating the second device, receiving a selection of a channel, detecting an interaction of the service subscriber with an advertisement, and determining that the service subscriber is viewing an electronic program guide; and

providing a second recommendation based on an action of the service subscriber on the first device, wherein the action is selected from the group consisting of viewing a product at an online site, selecting the product at the online site, purchasing the product at the online site, and searching for the product at the online site, wherein the first and second recommendations comprise a recommended financial offering, wherein the recommended financial offering is recommended to the service subscriber when the service subscriber invests in a financial offering with a financial service provider.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise detecting an activity performed by the service subscriber.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the operations further comprise updating the personalization profile based on the activity detected.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise outputting the first and second recommendations via a display of the second device.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise retrieving information that indicates an option that can be recommended to the service subscriber.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise providing the first recommendation in response to detecting a purchase of content.

7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise providing the first recommendation in response to detecting an internet protocol television service action.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise creating the personalization profile in response to a request to reset a current profile.

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise creating the personalization profile in response to a registration of an account with a service provider.

10. A method for providing recommendations related to a service, the method comprising:

receiving data from a first device associated with a service subscriber, wherein the data identifies an individual that is a fictional character;

creating, in response to an activation of the first device, a personalization profile for the service subscriber, wherein the personalization profile includes information from a profile of the individual;

providing, by utilizing instructions from memory that are executed by a processor, a first recommendation to the second device associated with the service subscriber based on the personalization profile and in response to activating the second device, receiving a selection of a channel, detecting an interaction of the service subscriber with an advertisement, and determining that the service subscriber is viewing an electronic program guide; and

providing a second recommendation based on an action of the service subscriber on the first device, wherein the action is selected from the group consisting of viewing a product at an online site, selecting the product at the online site, purchasing the product at the online site, and searching for the product at the online site, wherein the first and second recommendations comprise a recommended financial offering, wherein the recommended financial offering is recommended to the service subscriber when the service subscriber invests in a financial offering with a financial service provider.

11. The method of claim 10 , further comprising detecting an activity performed by the service subscriber.

12. The method of claim 11 , further comprising updating the personalization profile based on the activity detected.

13. The method of claim 10 , further comprising outputting the first and second recommendations via a display of the second device.

14. The method of claim 10 , further comprising retrieving information that indicates an option that can be recommended to the service subscriber.

15. The method of claim 10 , further comprising providing the first recommendation in response to detecting a purchase of content.

16. The method of claim 10 , further comprising providing the first recommendation in response to detecting an internet protocol television service action.

17. The method of claim 10 , further comprising creating the personalization profile in response to detecting that the service subscriber is configuring preferences associated with an account.

18. The method of claim 10 , further comprising creating the personalization profile in response to a registration of an account with a service provider.

19. A machine-readable storage device comprising instructions, which, when loaded and executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:

receiving data from a first device associated with a service subscriber, wherein the data identifies an individual that is a fictional character;

creating, in response to detection of an event associated with the service subscriber, a personalization profile for the service subscriber, wherein the personalization profile includes information from a profile of the individual;

providing a first recommendation to the second device associated with the service subscriber based on the personalization profile and in response to activating the second device, receiving a selection of a channel, detecting an interaction of the service subscriber with an advertisement, and determining that the service subscriber is viewing an electronic program guide; and

providing a second recommendation based on an action of the service subscriber on the first device, wherein the action is selected from the group consisting of viewing a product at an online site, selecting the product at the online site, purchasing the product at the online site, and searching for the product at the online site, wherein the first and second recommendations comprise a recommended financial offering, wherein the recommended financial offering is recommended to the service subscriber when the service subscriber invests in a financial offering with a financial service provider.
