Abstract

A method, includes receiving content to be delivered to a plurality of recipients, wherein each recipient of the plurality of recipients has a preference for the physical location at which the content is to be presented in the recipient's see-through head-worn display and a sender of the content has a preference for the physical location at which the content is to be presented to each recipient of the plurality of recipients, identifying a final physical location for the presentation of the content for each recipient of the plurality of recipients, wherein the final physical location is based on both the recipient's preference and the sender's preference and causing the content to be presented to each recipient of the plurality of recipients when each recipient is proximate the final physical location identified for the recipient.

Claims (21)

1. A method, comprising:

receiving content to be delivered to a plurality of recipients, wherein each recipient of the plurality of recipients has a preference attribute describing a manner of presenting content in relation to a physical object in an environment external to a recipient's see-through head-worn display at which the content is to appear to be displayed in the environment when presented in the recipient's see-through head-worn display and a sender of the content has a preference for a physical location of the physical object in the environment external to the recipient's see-through head-worn display at which the content is to appear to be displayed in the environment when presented to each recipient of the plurality of recipients;

identifying a final physical location at which the content will appear to be displayed in the environment when presented for each recipient of the plurality of recipients, wherein the final physical location is based on both the recipient's preference attribute and the sender's preference; and

causing the content to be presented to each recipient of the plurality of recipients when each recipient is proximate the final physical location identified for each recipient.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the sender's preference overrides the recipient's preference attribute.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the recipient's preference attribute overrides the sender's preference.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the final physical location represents a location that is within acceptable positions identified for the recipient and is a priority position for the sender.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the sender's preference for at least one recipient of the plurality of recipients is established based on personal information relating to the at least one recipient.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the physical location for at least one recipient of the plurality of recipients includes a geo-spatial position.

7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the physical location for the at least one recipient of the plurality of recipients includes an environment attribute type.

8. The method of claim 6 , wherein the physical location for the at least one recipient of the plurality of recipients includes an environment attribute.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content relates to the physical location for at least one recipient of the plurality of recipients.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content does not relate to the physical location for at least one recipient of the plurality of recipients.

11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content is presented when data indicates that the recipient's see-through head-worn display is proximate the final physical location for each recipient of the plurality of recipients.

12. The method of claim 11 , further comprising presenting the content when data indicates that the recipient's see-through head-worn display has an eye heading aligned with a selected object attribute.

13. The method of claim 11 , further comprising presenting the content when data indicates that the recipient's see-through head-worn display has a sight heading aligned with a selected object attribute.

14. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving an indication that at least one recipient of the plurality of recipients has selected the content with an external user interface to re-position the content.

15. The method of claim 1 , wherein causing the content to be presented further includes, for at least one recipient of the plurality of recipients, identifying a potentially obstructive view object and altering a primary virtual content to indicate the potentially obstructive view object.

16. The method of claim 1 , wherein causing the content to be presented further includes altering a position of the content based on sensor feedback.

17. The method of claim 16 , wherein the sensor feedback is indicative of a user moving forward.

18. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content also has a content presentation location preference and identifying the final physical location for each recipient of the plurality of recipients is further based on the content presentation location preference.
