Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus allowing a simultaneous transmission of control signals in a wireless communication system.

Claims (37)

1. A method for a user equipment to simultaneously transmit control signals, the method comprising:

generating Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement/Negative-Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information indicating whether downlink transmission is received;

determining a transmission of a scheduling request and the HARQ-ACK information in a same subframe;

in response to determining that the scheduling request and the HARQ-ACK information are transmitted in the same subframe, transmitting the HARQ-ACK information through an uplink control channel resource for a first antenna using the first antenna, and transmitting the HARQ-ACK information through an uplink control channel resource for a second antenna using the second antenna; and

receiving configuration information of an uplink control channel resource for the second antenna,

wherein at least part of the HARQ-ACK information is transmitted through the uplink control channel resource configured for transmission of the scheduling request.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the uplink control channel resource for the first antenna and the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna correspond to resources configured for transmission of a scheduling request, or

one of the uplink control channel resource for the first antenna and the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna corresponds to a resource configured for transmission of a scheduling request, and the other corresponds to a resource configured for transmission of an HARQ-ACK.

3. The method as claimed claim 1 , further comprising:

determining the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna based on a resource where downlink control information is located or information included in the downlink control information.

4. A user equipment, comprising:

a control signal generator to generate Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement/Negative-Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information indicating whether downlink transmission is received; and

a transceiver to transmit the HARQ-ACK information through an uplink control channel resource for a first antenna using the first antenna and to transmit the HARQ-ACK information through an uplink control channel resource for a second antenna using the second antenna, when the scheduling request and the HARQ-ACK information are transmitted simultaneously in a same subframe,

wherein at least part of the HARQ-ACK information is transmitted through an uplink control channel resource configured for transmission of the scheduling request, and

wherein the transceiver receives configuration information of the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna.

5. The user equipment as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the uplink control channel resource for the first antenna and the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna correspond to resources configured for transmission of a scheduling request, or

one of the uplink control channel resource for the first antenna and the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna corresponds to a resource configured for transmission of a scheduling request and the other corresponds to a resource configured for HARQ-ACK transmission.

6. The user equipment as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the transceiver determines the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna, based on a resource where downlink control information is located or information included in the downlink control information.

7. A method for a base station to receive a control signal, the method comprising:

simultaneously receiving first control information through an uplink control channel resource for a first antenna of a user equipment and receiving second control information through an uplink control channel resource for a second antenna of the user equipment, the first control information and the second control information each comprising a scheduling request and Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement/Negative-Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information indicating whether downlink transmission is received;

decoding the first control information and the second control information; and

transmitting configuration information of an uplink control channel resource for the second antenna,

wherein the scheduling request and the HARQ-ACK information are received in a same subframe, and

wherein at least part of the HARQ-ACK information is transmitted through the uplink control channel resource configured for transmission of the scheduling request.

8. The method as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the uplink control channel resource for the first antenna and the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna correspond to resources configured for transmission of a scheduling request; or

one of the uplink control channel resource for the first antenna and the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna corresponds to a resource configured for transmission of a scheduling request, and the other corresponds to a resource configured for transmission of an HARQ-ACK.

9. The method as claimed in claim 7 , further comprising:

determining a resource where downlink control information is located or information included in the downlink control information, so as to indicate the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna.

10. A base station, comprising:

a transceiver to simultaneously receive first control information through an uplink control channel resource for a first antenna of a user equipment and to receive second control information through an uplink control channel resource for a second antenna of the user equipment, the first control information and the second control information each comprising a scheduling request and Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement/Negative-Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information indicating whether downlink transmission is received; and

a control signal decoder to decode the first control information and the second control information,

wherein the scheduling request and the HARQ-ACK information are received in a same subframe,

wherein at least part of the HARQ-ACK information is transmitted through an uplink control channel resource configured for transmission of the scheduling request, and

wherein the transceiver transmits configuration information of the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna.

11. The base station as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the uplink control channel resource for the first antenna and the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna correspond to resources configured for transmission of a scheduling request; or

one of the uplink control channel resource for the first antenna and the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna corresponds to a resource configured for transmission of a scheduling request, and the other corresponds to a resource configured for transmission of an HARQ-ACK.

12. The base station as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the transceiver determines a resource where downlink control information is located or information included in the downlink control information, so as to indicate the uplink control channel resource for the second antenna.
