Abstract

When a mobile terminal obtains a container upon movement of a display range, a processor increases points in a storage unit. When the mobile terminal opens a container obtained by movement of the display range or as a present from another mobile terminal, the processor opens the container at predetermined success percentages, and writes an item obtained from the opened container in the storage unit. When the mobile terminal presents a container without opening it, the processor transmits screen data indicating a present to the other mobile terminal. The processor converts an item in the storage unit into points to increase the points in the storage unit based on an operation of the user of the mobile terminal.

controlling a first forwarding of, by the processor, an acceptance request of a companion to the second mobile terminal based on an operation of the first user of the first mobile terminal, the companion being the second user;

controlling a second forwarding of, by the processor, an acceptance response of the companion to the first mobile terminal; and

storing in the memory, by the processor, user identification information of the companion in association with the user identification information of the first user.

7. The method according to claim 6 , further comprising:

controlling transmission, by the processor to the first mobile terminal when the virtual container has not been opened and is gifted to the second user based on the selection by the first user, of data for producing a present destination selection screen including user identification information of the second user in association with the user identification information of the first user; and

receiving, by the processor, a selection of the data for producing the present destination selection screen to gift the virtual container to the second user.

8. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the virtual item contained in the virtual container is not displayed by a mobile terminal until the virtual container is opened.

9. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

creating, by the processor, a composite item including a plurality of items stored in the memory in association with the user identification information of the first user based on an operation of the first user after the opening of the virtual container;

storing in the memory, by the processor, information relating to the composite item in association with the user identification information of the first user;

converting, by the processor, the information relating the composite item into points based on an operation of the first user after the composition; and

increasing, by the processor, a number of points stored in the memory in association with the first mobile terminal.

10. A server that controls sharing of virtual containers in an electronic game, comprising:
