Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for preparing tetrazole-substituted anthranilamide derivatives of the formula (I) in which R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 and Z are each as defined in the description, and to a novel crystal polymorph of these derivatives and to the use thereof in agrochemical formulations.

Claims (34)

1. Crystal polymorph B of the compound of the formula (I-1)

wherein said crystal polymorph B comprises an x-ray powder diffractogram using Cu Kα radiation that has at least the following reflections:

2. Crystal polymorph B according to claim 1 , wherein the x-ray powder diffractogram thereof using Cu Kα radiation has at least the following further reflections:

3. Crystal polymorph B according to claim 1 , wherein the x-ray powder diffractogram thereof using Cu Kα radiation corresponds essentially to the spectrum reproduced in FIG. 1 .

4. Crystal polymorph B of the compound of the formula (I-1) according to claim 1 , having a Raman spectrum that has at least the following bands:

5. Crystal polymorph B according to claim 1 , having a Raman spectrum that corresponds essentially to the spectrum reproduced in FIG. 4 .

6. Agrochemical composition comprising crystal polymorph B of the compound of the formula (I-1) according to claim 1 and at least one auxiliary comprising an extender, emulsifier, foam former, dispersant, or wetting agent with ionic or nonionic properties.

7. Method for controlling unwanted insects, comprising applying an agrochemical composition comprising an effective amount of crystal polymorph B of the compound of the formula (I-1) according to claim 1 to insects and/or their habitat and/or seed.

8. Agrochemical composition comprising crystal polymorph B of the compound of the formula (I-1) according to claim 1 and at least one auxiliary comprising a solvent, spontaneity promoter, carrier, dispersant, frost protectant, biocide, thickener, adjuvant, stabilizer, or further auxiliary.

9. Agrochemical composition comprising crystal polymorph B of the compound of the formula (I-1) according to claim 1 and one more auxiliaries comprising an aqueous silicone emulsion, an acid, a biocide, a naphthalene sulfonate salt derivative, an alcohol, an ethoxylated polymethacrylate, an EO-PO block copolymer, xanthan thickener, amorphous precipitated silica, or water.
