Active compound combinations
View Patent ↗The invention relates to active compound combinations, in particular a fungicidal and/or insecticidal composition, comprising Isotianil (3,4-dichloro-N-(2-cyanophenyl)-5-isothiazolecarboxamide) and at least one further insecticide of the anthranilamide group and optionally one further insecticide of the neonicotinoids. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for curatively or preventively controlling the phytopathogenic fungi and/or microorganisms and/or pests of plants or crops, to the use of a combination according to the invention for the treatment of seed, to a method for protecting a seed and not at least to the treated seed.
1. A composition comprising
(A) Isotianil and
(B) a first insecticidal active compound selected from the group consisting of chlorantraniliprole and 3-bromo-1-(3-chloropyridin-2-yl)-N-[4-cyano-2-methyl-6-(methylcarbamoyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide; and
(C) thiamethoxam.
2. The composition according to claim 1 wherein the weight ratio between any two components (A), (B), or (C), independently of each other, is 1:1250 to 1250:1.
3. The composition according to claim 1 , further comprising adjuvants, solvents, carriers, surfactants or extenders.
4. A method for curatively or preventively controlling phytopathogenic fungi, microorganisms, or pests of plants or crops comprising applying:
(A) Isotianil;
(B) a first insecticidal active compound selected from the group consisting of chlorantraniliprole and 3-bromo-1-(3-chloropyridin-2-yl)-N-[4-cyano-2-methyl-6-(methylcarbamoyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide; and
(C) thiamethoxam, to a seed, to plant propagation material, to a plant, to fruit of a plant, to soil in which the plant is growing, or to soil from which a seed, a plant propagation material, or a plant grows.
5. The method according to claim 4 , comprising applying:
(A) Isotianil;
(B) the first insecticidal active compound; and
(C) thiamethoxam, separately, simultaneously, or sequentially.
6. The method according to claim 4 wherein
(A) Isotianil;
(B) the first insecticidal active compound; and
(C) thiamethoxam, are applied at a rate of from 0.1 g/ha to 10 kg/ha for foliar treatment; are applied at a rate of from 0.1 g/ha to 10 kg/ha for soil treatment; or are applied at a rate of from 2 to 200 g/100 kg of seed for seed treatment.
7. A method for protecting a seed, shoots, foliage, or combinations thereof of a plant grown from a seed from damage by a pest or a fungus comprising treating an unsown seed with
(A) Isotianil;
(B) a first insecticidal active compound selected from the group consisting of chlorantraniliprole and 3-bromo-1-(3-chloropyridin-2-yl)-N-[4-cyano-2-methyl-6-(methylcarbamoyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide; and
(C) thiamethoxam.
8. The method according to claim 7 , wherein the unsown seed is treated at the same time, sequentially, or separately with
(A) Isotianil;
(B) the first insecticidal active compound; and
(C) thiamethoxam.
9. A composition comprising:
seed;
(A) Isotianil;
(B) a first insecticidal active compound selected from the group consisting of chlorantraniliprole and 3-bromo-1-(3-chloropyridin-2-yl)-N-[4-cyano-2-methyl-6-(methylcarbamoyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide; and
(C) thiamethoxam.
