Abstract

Aspects of the present invention relate to methods and systems for presenting digital content in a field of view of a head-worn computer.

Claims (12)

1 . A method, comprising:

a. Capturing more than one image of an object in an environment proximate a person wearing a head-worn display;

b. Identifying that the object is moving in the environment by comparing the object's position in the more than one image; and

c. Removing the object from consideration as a distance marker when presenting content in the head-worn display, wherein the content is presented at a focal plane at a distance from the head-worn display.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of capturing the image is accomplished through the use of a camera mounted proximate the head-worn see-through display.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising identifying the object as a known object.

4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the step of presenting involves making a distance determination by assessing a size of the object as captured with the known object's size attributes.

5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the distance determination involves assessing a size of the object as captured with the known object's size attributes.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of presenting involves generating an image with a front lit reflective display.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the reflective display is a DLP with a dark trap stray light management system.

8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the reflective display is an LCoS.

9 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the head-worn display further comprises an in-optic eye imaging system.
