Multifunctional melamine epoxy resins, methylols and amines

1. A compound having the structure of Formula III:

2. The compound of claim 1 , provided that when R 1 is —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 OH) 2 ,

3. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 1 and R 2 are the same.
4. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of: —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 OH) 2 , —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 NH 2 ) 2 ,
5. The compound of claim 4 , wherein R 1 and R 2 are the same.
6. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of: —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 OH) 2 , —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 NH 2 ) 2 , and
7. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 1 and R 2 are —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 OH) 2 , —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 NH 2 ) 2 , or

10. A composition comprising one or more of the compounds having the structure of Formula III:

12. The composition of claim 10 , wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of: —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 OH) 2 , —CH 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 NH 2 ) 2 ,
