Abstract

An application platform configurable for collecting user data associated with a plurality of retail-branded credit cards is provided. The application platform includes a configurable front end comprising a graphical user interface layer that is configurable to a specific one of the plurality of retail-branded credit cards, a backend layer comprising credit card functionality for directly performing credit card transactions associated with a specific one of the plurality of retail-branded credit cards, a data collection layer comprising a data collector for collecting user data associated with the plurality of retail-branded credit cards and an analytics engine coupled with the data collection layer for determining one or more attribute about a user from the user data associated with the plurality of retail-branded credit cards.

Claims (29)

1. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, the instructions comprising:

one or more instructions in an application that, when executed by one or more processors of a user's mobile device, cause the one or more processors to:

access a plurality of retail-branded credit cards stored in a memory of the user's mobile device;

determine a front end graphical user interface layer for a specific retail-branded credit card out of the plurality of retail-branded credit cards,

the front end graphical user interface layer capable of displaying any one of said plurality of retail-branded credit cards,

the front end graphical user interface layer presenting said specific retail-branded credit card on a display of the user's mobile device,

the front end graphical user interface layer presenting an animated digital watermark in conjunction with the presenting of the specific retail-branded credit card on the display,

a touch of the animated digital watermark on the display causes a visual message to be displayed on the display, the visual message to provide evidence that the specific retail-branded credit card on the display is not a fraudulent video capture of the specific retail-branded credit card on the display;

provide a single backend layer credit card functionality that can perform a credit card transaction for every one of the plurality of retail-branded credit cards,

the single backend layer credit card functionality to perform a credit card transaction associated with said specific retail-branded credit card after the animated digital watermark has been touched;

collect user data associated with said plurality of retail-branded credit cards; and

determine one or more buyer attributes about a user from said user data associated with said plurality of retail-branded credit cards.

2. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , where the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to:

utilize said single backend layer to perform every credit card transaction associated with all of said plurality of retail-branded credit cards; and

collect information associated with every said credit card transaction.

3. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , where the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to:

approve a credit issuance to said user; and

generate data associated with said plurality of retail-branded credit cards.

4. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , where the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to:

create a credit account for said user; and

provide, to said user via the display of the user's mobile device, customized offers based on the collected user data.

5. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , where the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to:

earn credit card rewards points associated with said user; and

provide, to said user via the display of the user's mobile device, customized offers based on said earned credit card rewards points.

6. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , where the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to:

buy items at a store associated with said specific retail-branded credit card; and

provide, to said user via the display of the user's mobile device, customized offers when said user is physically at said store.

7. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , where the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to:

receive promotions associated with said specific retail-branded credit card.
