Abstract

A method and apparatus for receiving control channel resources of a relay by the relay is provided. The method includes receiving resource information including a resource block assignment information related to resource blocks allocated to the relay; and receiving control channel according to the resource information.

Claims (27)

1. A method for receiving control channel resources of a relay by the relay, the method comprising:

receiving resource information comprising a resource block assignment information related to resource blocks allocated to the relay and an interleaving indicator related to whether interleaving is applied; and

receiving control information on a control channel according to the resource information,

wherein, if the interleaving is applied, a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) is applicable, else one of the CRS and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) is applicable.

2. The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the resource information further comprises resource allocation type information related to a resource allocation type,

wherein the resource allocation type comprises a first type, a second type and a third type,

wherein in resource allocations of the first type, frequency-consecutive resource block groups (RBGs) are assigned to the relay according to the resource block assignment information,

wherein in resource allocations of the second type, non-frequency-consecutive RBGs are assigned to the relay according to the resource block assignment information, and

wherein in resource allocations of the third type, localized or distributed resource blocks (RBs) are assigned to the relay according to the resource block assignment information.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the resource information further comprises a Reference Signal (RS) indicator related to a reference signal used for demodulation.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein control channel resources for the relay are allocated in a downlink data channel region for a user equipment (UE).

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein control channel resources for the relay are allocated in a backhaul subframe.

6. A relay comprising:

a receiver configured to receive a signal; and

a controller configured to:

receive resource information comprising resource block assignment information related to resource blocks allocated to the relay and an interleaving indicator related to whether an interleaving is applied, and

receive control information on a control channel according to the resource information,

wherein, if the interleaving is applied, a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) is applicable, else one of the CRS and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) is applicable.

7. The relay of claim 6 , wherein the resource information further comprises resource allocation type information related to a resource allocation type,

wherein the resource allocation type comprises a first type, a second type and a third type,

wherein in resource allocations of the first type, frequency-consecutive resource block groups (RBGs) are assigned to the relay according to the resource block assignment information,

wherein in resource allocations of the second type, non-frequency-consecutive RBGs are assigned to the relay according to the resource block assignment information, and

wherein in resource allocations of the third type, localized or distributed resource blocks (RBs) are assigned to the relay according to the resource block assignment information.

8. The relay of claim 6 , wherein the resource information further comprises a Reference Signal (RS) indicator related to a reference signal used for demodulation.

9. The relay of claim 6 , wherein control channel resources for the relay are allocated in a downlink data channel region for a user equipment (UE).

10. The relay of claim 6 , wherein control channel resources for the relay are allocated in a backhaul subframe.
