The system includes an interactive controller configured to: communicate, to an application controller an indication that an object of an interactive application provided by the interactive controller has been loaded; communicate, to the application controller, application telemetry; receive an application resource; a wager controller constructed to: receive a wager request; determine a wager outcome; and communicate, to the application controller, the wager outcome; and the application controller operatively connecting the interactive controller and the wager controller and constructed to: receive the indication that the object has been loaded, wherein the object is associated with one or more wager parameters; communicate, to the wager controller, the wager request, wherein the wager request comprises the one or more wager parameters; receive the wager outcome; communicate, to the interactive controller, the wager outcome; receive the application telemetry; and communicate, to the interactive controller, the application resources.
1. A distributed catapult interleaved wagering system, comprising:
an interactive controller constructed to continuously during a user session:
execute an entertainment game for play by a player;
generate a user interface display that depicts a representation of the entertainment game;
receive player input to determine a player action in the entertainment game;
distribute, to an application controller application telemetry that includes an indication that an object in the entertainment game has been loaded, wherein the object is a launchable object;
receive, from the application controller, a wager outcome;
receive, from the application controller, an entertainment game modification based on the wager outcome;
provide an entertainment game outcome based upon the player action in the entertainment game and the entertainment game modification; and
generate a user interface display that depicts a representation of the entertainment game outcome and the wager outcome;
a wager controller constructed to continuously during the user session:
receive, from the application controller, a wager request;
determine the wager outcome based on the received wager request using a random number generator; and
distribute, to the application controller, the wager outcome; and
the application controller operatively connecting the electronic gaming machine and the wager controller, wherein the application controller is constructed to continuously during the user session:
receive, from the interactive controller, the application telemetry including the indication that the object has been loaded;
associate the object with one or more wager parameters;
generate the wager request based on the one or more wager parameters associated with the object;
trigger a wager during the player's play of the entertainment game by distributing, to the wager controller, the wager request;
receive, from the wager controller, the wager outcome;
determine an entertainment game modification based upon the player's skillful play of the entertainment game and the wager outcome;
distribute, to the interactive controller, the wager outcome; and
distribute, to the interactive controller, the entertainment game modification,
whereby the wager is triggered by the player action in the entertainment game during the player's play of the entertainment game and the wager outcome is determined using a random number generator.
2. The distributed catapult interleaved wagering system of claim 1 , wherein the loaded object is determined based on a player action.
3. The distributed catapult interleaved wagering system of claim 1 , wherein the loaded object is determined based on application telemetry associated with a previously launched object.
4. The distributed catapult interleaved wagering system of claim 1 , wherein one of the one or more wager parameters is an identification of a paytable, and wherein the wager outcome is determined based on the identified paytable.
5. The distributed catapult interleaved wagering system of claim 1 , wherein one of the one or more wager parameters is a wager amount, and wherein the wager outcome is determined based on the wager amount.
