Abstract

A lighting apparatus comprises: a board, a plurality of light-emitting units disposed on the board, and a package structure enclosing all of the light-emitting units and having a volume less than 5000 mm 3 . The lighting apparatus has a light intensity greater than 150 lumens.

Claims (23)

1. A lighting apparatus, comprising:

a board having two opposite surfaces;

a plurality of light-emitting units disposed on the two opposite surfaces;

a package structure enclosing all of the light-emitting units and having a volume less than 5000 mm 3 ;

a circuit structure electrically connected to the plurality of light-emitting units;

a base connected to the package, the base having an upper portion shielding the circuit structure, and a bottom portion opposite to the upper portion; and

an electrical connector formed on the board and passing through the bottom portion, wherein the lighting apparatus has a light intensity greater than 150 lumens.

2. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the volume is larger than 1500 mm 3 .

3. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the package structure is a hollow housing or a solid body.

4. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the lighting apparatus is operated under an operating voltage with a root-mean-square voltage of 100˜130V or 200˜260V.

5. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a power consumption of the lighting apparatus is of 1˜5 watt.

6. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the electrical connector comprises a pin substantially located in the same horizontal plane with a central axis of the board.

7. The lighting apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the pin is formed on the board without penetrating through the board.

8. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the electrical connector comprises a pin penetrating through the board.

9. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the lighting apparatus has a weight less than 12 gram.

10. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein one of the plurality of light-emitting units comprises a substrate and a plurality of light-emitting bodies commonly formed on the substrate.

11. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the package structure is a solid body comprising silicone or epoxy.

12. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the package structure is a hollow housing defining an inner chamber therein.

13. The lighting apparatus according to claim 12 , further comprising filler filling in the inner chamber.

14. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the electrical connector has a part enclosed by the base.

15. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the package structure has a through hole.

16. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the circuit structure is formed on the board.

17. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the bottom portion has an elongated hole for the electrical connector passing therethrough.
