Abstract

A compact modular mobile aggregate processing system configured with no stand-alone inter-plant conveyors for decreasing the footprint of the system and an infinitely adjustable flow diverter(s) for increasing the control of and variation of output characteristics of the system; the system further including specialized folding conveyors.

Claims (30)

1. A method of reconfiguring an aggregate processing system comprising the steps of:

providing a plurality of crushing machines and a plurality of screening machines arranged in a first configuration so that an output of a first crushing machine is provided to an input of a first screening machine;

wherein each of said plurality of screening machines is a screening machine configured to output material at a common predetermined output conveyor height;

wherein each of said plurality of crushing machines is a crushing machine configured to receive material thereon from an outside source at a common predetermined feed point height;

providing a plurality of conveyors where each of said plurality of conveyors, which extends between both a crushing machine and a screening machine, is integrated with one of said crushing machine and said screening machine; and

reconfiguring said plurality of crushing machines and said plurality of screening machines into a second configuration and creating a new operative combination without making horizontal or vertical adjustments to said plurality of conveyors.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein said step of reconfiguring said plurality of crushing machines and said plurality of screening machines comprises the steps of: rearranging physical locations of a mobile crushing machine and a mobile screening machine.

3. The method of claim 2 wherein each of said plurality of crushing machines is a mobile crushing machine.

4. The method of claim 2 wherein each of said plurality of screening machines is a mobile screening machine.

5. The method of claim 2 wherein one of said plurality of crushing machines is a cone crusher.

6. The method of claim 1 wherein said step of reconfiguring comprises changing a number of crushing machines in said plurality of crushing machines and changing a number of screening machines in said plurality of screening machines from said second configuration.

7. The method of claim 6 wherein said step of changing a number of crushing machines comprises a step of omitting at least one of said plurality of crushing machines.

8. The method of claim 6 wherein said step of changing a number of screening machines comprises a step of omitting at least one of said plurality of screening machines.

9. The method of claim 7 wherein said step of changing a number of screening machines comprises a step of omitting at least one of said plurality of screening machines.

10. The method of claim 9 providing a control trailer coupled to each of said plurality of crushing machines and to each of said plurality of screen machines.

11. A method of reconfiguring an aggregate processing system comprising the steps of:

providing a first plurality of aggregate processing machines and a second plurality of aggregate processing machines arranged in a first configuration so that an output of a first aggregate processing machine is provided to an input of a second aggregate processing machine;

wherein at least one of said first plurality of aggregate processing machines and said second plurality of aggregate processing machines is a screening machine configured to output material at a common predetermined output conveyor height;

wherein each of said first plurality of aggregate processing machines is a crushing machine configured to receive material thereon from an outside source at a common predetermined feed point heights;

providing a plurality of conveyors where each of said plurality of conveyors, which extends between both a crushing machine and a screening machine, is integrated with one of said crushing machine and said screening machine; and

reconfiguring said first plurality of aggregate processing machines and said second plurality of aggregate processing machines into a second configuration and creating a new operative combination without making horizontal or vertical adjustments to said plurality of conveyors.

12. The method of claim 11 wherein said step of reconfiguring said first plurality of aggregate processing machines and said second plurality of aggregate processing machines comprises the steps of: rearranging physical locations of a mobile crushing machine and a mobile screening machine.

13. The method of claim 12 wherein at least one of said first plurality of aggregate processing machines is a mobile crushing machine.

14. The method of claim 12 wherein at least one of said second plurality of aggregate processing machines is a mobile screening machine.

15. The method of claim 12 wherein one of said first plurality of aggregate processing machines is a cone crusher.

16. The method of claim 11 wherein said step of reconfiguring comprises changing a number of crushing machines in said first plurality of aggregate processing machines and changing a number of screening machines in said plurality of aggregate processing machines from said second configuration.

17. The method of claim 16 wherein said step of changing a number of crushing machines comprises a step of omitting at least one crushing machine from said first plurality of aggregate processing machines.

18. The method of claim 16 wherein said step of changing a number of screening machines comprises a step of omitting at least one of said second plurality of aggregate processing machines.

19. The method of claim 17 wherein said step of changing a number of screening machines comprises a step of omitting at least one of said second plurality of aggregate processing machines.

20. The method of claim 19 providing a control trailer coupled to each of said first plurality of aggregate processing machines and to each of said second plurality of aggregate processing machines.
