Abstract

A system, method, and device for operations of an electrically motorized vehicle. The vehicle can utilize an electrically motorized wheel to convert a non-motorized wheeled vehicle to an electrically motorized wheeled vehicle. A system includes a communications module operable to communicate data to a server remote from the electrically motorized wheel and a data integration module in data communication with the server to integrate the data from the sensor system with data from a data source external to the electrically motorized wheel.

Claims (30)

1. A system, comprising:

a server in communication with each of a plurality of motorized human-powered vehicles, wherein each of the plurality of motorized vehicles comprises a sensing system to detect human effort that propels the vehicle, a physical condition of a user propelling the vehicle or a condition of an environment or road network around the vehicle as measured by the vehicle; and

a third-party data source,

wherein the server is operable to integrate data indicative of the human effort that propels the vehicle, the physical condition of the user of the vehicle, or the condition of the environment or road network around the vehicle as measured by the vehicle from each of the plurality of motorized human-powered vehicles and data from the third-party data source.

2. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from the third-party data source includes data from a traffic camera or traffic data system.

3. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from the third-party data source includes data from a sensor in a road.

4. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from the third-party data source includes data from at least one of an aerial mapping data source, land use mapping data source, and mobile mapping data source.

5. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the integrated data provides a spatial and a temporal indication of various parameters.

6. The system as recited in claim 5 , wherein the spatial indication includes a location.

7. The system as recited in claim 5 , wherein the temporal indication includes data associated with an environment through which at least one of the multiple of motorized human-powered vehicles passes.

8. The system as recited in claim 5 , wherein the temporal indication includes at least one of weather data, temperature, humidity, elevation, atmospheric data and signal strength.

9. The system as recited in claim 5 , wherein the temporal indication includes data associated with at least one of the plurality of motorized human-powered vehicles.

10. The system as recited in claim 5 , wherein the temporal indication includes at least one of vehicle speed, battery charge, motor assistance, motor speed, motor temperature, and torque.

11. The system as recited in claim 5 , wherein the integrated data is utilized to generate a model.

12. The system as recited in claim 11 , wherein the model is operable to facilitate prediction of future conditions.

13. The system as recited in claim 11 , wherein the model is operable to facilitate at least one of bike lane placement, urban planning, cell tower placement, pollution reduction initiatives.

14. The system as recited in claim 11 , wherein the model is operable to facilitate analysis of real time conditions.

15. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the sensing system is further operable to detect movement data and the server is operable to integrate the movement data to facilitate public health analysis.

16. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the sensing system is further operable to detect movement data and the server is operable to integrate the movement data to facilitate bike path location determinations.

17. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the sensing system is further operable to detect movement data and the server is operable to integrate the movement data to facilitate fleet management.

18. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the sensing system is further operable to detect movement data and the server is operable to integrate the movement data to facilitate traffic analysis.

19. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the server correlates the data from the plurality of motorized human-powered vehicles with at least one data structure of at least one database.

20. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from at least one of the plurality of motorized human-powered vehicles and the third-party data source includes image data.

21. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from at least one of the plurality of motorized human-powered vehicles and the third-party data source includes steadiness of the at least one motorized human-powered vehicle.

22. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from at least one of the plurality of motorized human-powered vehicles and the third-party data source includes terrain travelled by the at least one motorized human-powered vehicle.

23. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from the third-party data source includes a location of another vehicle.

24. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from the third-party data source includes a location of a piece of infrastructure near at least one of the motorized human-powered vehicles.

25. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from the third-party data source is health data associated with the user of one of the motorized human-powered vehicles.

26. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from the third-party data source is demographic information.

27. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the data from the third-party data source is from a sensor associated with the user of one of the motorized human-powered vehicles.
