Abstract

A system for secure information storage and delivery includes a vault repository that includes a secure vault associated with a user, wherein the secure vault is associated with a service level including at least one of a data type or a data size limit associated with the secure vault, the secure vault being adapted to receive and at least one data entry and securely store the at least one data entry if the at least one of a size or a type of the at least one data entry is consistent with the service level. A mobile vault server coupled to the vault repository creates a mobile vault on a mobile device based on the secure vault and is capable of authenticating the mobile device based on user authentication information. The mobile vault server includes a mobile device handler that communicates with the mobile device. A synchronization utility determines whether the at least one data entry on the secure vault is transferable to or storable on the mobile vault based on at least one of the size or the type of the at least one data entry and transfers the at least one data entry from the secure vault to a corresponding data entry on the mobile vault if the at least one data entry on the secure vault is determined to be transferable to or storable on the mobile vault.

transmitting the small version of the photograph to the storage of the mobile device of the user;

receiving, from the mobile device of the user, a request to transmit, via a message to a mobile number, the at least one file from the secure storage on the system, the request including identification of the mobile number as a destination; and

transmitting the message to the mobile number, the message including the at least one file from the secure storage on the system.

2. The method of claim 1 , comprising:

receiving, from the mobile device of the user, one or more photographs from the mobile device;

storing the one or more photographs in the secure storage on the system; and

synchronizing the one or more photographs in the secure storage with the different device of the user.

3. The method of claim 1 , comprising:

receiving a storage size of the unique account, wherein the storage size indicates how much storage is available for the secure storage on the system for storing information associated with the user.

4. The method of claim 1 , comprising:

comparing the verification code transmitted to the different device of the user with the verification code received from the mobile device; and

authenticating the mobile device based on determining during the comparing that the verification code received from the mobile device is the same as the verification code transmitted to the different device of the user.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the verification code is a one-time use passcode.

6. The method of claim 1 , comprising:

transmitting, via email, from the mobile device, data stored in the secure storage to a different mobile device.

7. The method of claim 1 , comprising:

synchronizing the data from the secure storage on the system to the mobile device if the size of the data is below a threshold.

8. Non-transitory computer-readable media storing executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause a system to:

create a unique account for a user, the unique account having associated therewith a secure storage on the system for storing information associated with the user;

receive, from a mobile device of the user, authentication information for the unique account of the user, the authentication information comprising a username and a password;

in response to receiving the authentication information, transmit, to a different device of the user, a verification code;

receive, from the mobile device of the user, the verification code transmitted to the different device;

monitor a size of data to be synchronized from the secure storage on the system to the mobile device;

synchronize a storage of the mobile device of the user with the secure storage on the system by transferring at least one file from the secure storage on the system to the mobile device of the user;

create a small version of a photograph stored in the secure storage on the system, the small version of the photograph having a smaller file size than a full-size version of the photograph;

transmit the small version of the photograph to the storage of the mobile device of the user;

receive, from the mobile device of the user, a request to transmit, via a message to a mobile number, the at least one file from the secure storage on the system, the request including identification of the mobile number as a destination; and

transmit the message to the mobile number, the message including the at least one file from the secure storage on the system.

9. The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , storing executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:

receive, from the mobile device of the user, one or more photographs from the mobile device;

store the one or more photographs in the secure storage on the system; and

synchronize the one or more photographs in the secure storage with the different device of the user.

10. The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , storing executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:

receive a storage size of the unique account, wherein the storage size indicates how much storage is available for the secure storage on the system for storing information associated with the user.

11. The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , storing executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:

compare the verification code transmitted to the different device of the user with the verification code received from the mobile device; and

authenticate the mobile device based on determining that the verification code received from the mobile device is the same as the verification code transmitted to the different device of the user.

12. The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the verification code is a one-time use passcode.

13. The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 8 , storing executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:

synchronize the data from the secure storage on the system to the mobile device if the size of the data is below a threshold.

14. A system comprising:

one or more processors; and

non-transitory memory storing executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the system to:

create a unique account for a user, the unique account having associated therewith a secure storage on the system for storing information associated with the user;

receive, from a mobile device of the user, authentication information for the unique account of the user, the authentication information comprising a username and a password;
