Abstract

A mobile personsize display system and method of use; in general, a platform, a support frame, a module display frame, an LED panel display formed of a plurality of LED display modules having a plurality of pixels, four or more casters, a battery powered supply, a media player (electrically communicating with the plurality of display modules for controlling the display of an image(s) on the LED panel display, and a removable content storage device and; thus, functions as a rugged person size mobile, light weight, battery powered display to inform customers and passers-by about product and service offerings via a rugged person size mobile light weight battery powered display.

Claims (22)

1. A display system configured to be repositioned on a surface comprising:

a mobile base having a support structure configured to extend therefrom said base;

a sub-frame supported by said support structure;

two or more display sub-assemblies configured with a plurality of light emitters, said two or more display sub-assemblies configured to be releasably affixed to said sub-frame to form a flat panel display having a display edge, wherein at least one said display edge is a minimal distance above the surface;

said two or more display sub-assemblies being positioned adjacent to each other so as to provide, collectively, a single visual area; each sub-assembly being positioned to maintain a sub-assembly gap between adjacent sub-assemblies;

each of said display sub-assemblies being further characterized in that the plurality of light emitters is arranged in a matrix formation configured with a pixel gap between adjacent light emitters; and,

the display system being further characterized in that said pixel gap and said sub-assembly gap are approximately equal.

2. The display system of claim 1 , the base comprising one or more casters affixed to an underside of said base.

3. The display system of claim 1 , further comprising a media player configured to communicate content to said one or more display sub-assemblies.

4. The display system of claim 1 , wherein said flat panel display is configured as a single sided display.

5. The display system of claim 1 , wherein said flat panel display is configured as a two sided display.

6. The display system of claim 1 , further comprising a feedback technology.

7. The display system of claim 6 , wherein said flat panel display is configured to display content incorporated from said feedback technology.

8. The display system of claim 1 , further comprising a functionality feature.

9. The display system of claim 8 , wherein said flat panel display is configured to display content incorporated from said functionality feature.

10. The display system of claim 3 , wherein said media player communicates with a scalar board, the scalar board being configured to convert content from one format to another.

11. The display system of claim 10 , wherein said scalar board communicates with an electronics device configured to communicate the content to said one or more display sub-assemblies.

12. The display system of claim 11 , wherein said electronics device is configured to divide content between said one or more display sub-assemblies.

13. The display system of claim 1 , wherein said sub-assembly gap further comprises one or more bend points.

14. The display system of claim 13 , wherein said one or more bend points are configured to enable one or more display sub-assemblies to bend to form a curve.

15. The display system of claim 1 , wherein said one or more display sub-assemblies are configured to generate a personsize image on the display.

16. The display system of claim 1 , wherein said one or more display sub-assemblies are configured to be seamless.
