HUMAN THERAPEUTIC AGENTS
Human therapeutic treatment compositions comprise at least two of a curcumin component, a harmine component, and an isovanillin component, and preferably all three in combination. The agents are effective for the treatment of human conditions, especially human cancers.
1 . A therapeutic composition comprising the combination of at least one curcumin component comprising curcumin and at least one harmine component comprising harmine, wherein the components of the composition are different, said at least one curcumin component being synthetically derived or derived from naturally occurring product(s) containing said at least one curcumin component which have been treated so that the at least one curcumin component is present at a level of at least about 25% by weight in the treated naturally occurring product(s), and said at least one harmine component being synthetically derived or derived from naturally occurring product(s) containing said at least one harmine component which have been treated so that the at least one harmine component is present at a level of at least about 25% by weight in the treated naturally occurring product(s).
2 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein said curcumin and said harmine are each at least about 70% pure.
3 . The composition of claim 1 , the weight ratio of said curcumin to said harmine ranging from about 0.01:1 to 10:1.
4 . The composition of claim 1 , the weight amount of said harmine being from about 30-55% by weight, and the weight amount of said harmine being from about 70-45% by weight, based upon the total weight of the two components taken as 100% by weight.

10 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the composition exhibits therapeutic synergy.

16 . The composition of claim 1 , said at least one curcumin component consisting essentially of curcumin, and said at least one component consisting essentially of harmine.
