Multiple functions LED night light
A multiple function LED night light has at least one LED device and added function(s) such as an air-freshener adaptor device, sonic device, frequency device, sensor device, bug repeller device, second light device, timepiece, electric message device, timer device, temperature device, surge protection device, electric short circuit protection device, base device for installation on an existing lamp socket, emergency light device, or any other electric device(s) suitable for home use to keep people comfortable or safe. The LED device has a first optic means to change the narrow-viewing angle of an LED's spot-light beams into a wider-viewing angle and second optic means to help make the LED night light exhibit a smooth lighting effect. The device may be arranged to fit into an existing night light bulb socket to turn any existing bulb night light into a power saving LED night light.
1. A multiple function LED night light including:
at least one LED arranged to serve as a light source when illuminated; and
at least one electrical circuit to connect with at least one prong to deliver electricity from a 120V AC wall power source to the at least one LED and turn on the at least one LED for illumination according to a predetermined function, time, duration, color, and brightness, and also to deliver the electric power to at least one added-function device;
wherein the added function device is installed on a geometric housing of the night light, and the added function device is selected from the group consisting of: (1) an air-freshener, (2) an electrically conductive receiving-end or adaptor or electrical power outlet device, (3) a sound device, (4) a frequency modulation device, (5) a bug repeller, (6) a second LED light, (7) a time device, (8) an electric message device, (9) a timer, (10) a temperature measuring device, (11) a surge protection device, (12) a data storage device, (13) a base that can install an existing lamp base, and (14) a device having an electrical function,
wherein the added function device is also supplied with power from said at least one prong to perform the added function, and
wherein the at least one prong extends from the geometric housing of the night light and the geometric housing is arranged to accommodate both the at least one LED and the added-function device to provide the LED night light with lower power consumption than an incandescent-bulb night light and to provide the LED night light with multiple functions.
2. A multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the LED is one of a single color LED and/or a multiple color LED.
3. A multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising an LED bulb having a base and an LED trigger circuit built into the base, wherein the base has specifications that enable the base to fit into an incandescent-bulb night light's bulb receiving socket.
4. A multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the night light housing has a built-in LED trigger circuit installed within a base of the LED night light housing to cause the LED to illuminate.
5. An LED device, comprising:
at least one LED that serves as a light source to offer low power consumption illumination and that is installed into a bulb housing having a base that fits into an existing incandescent-bulb night light's bulb receiving socket;
wherein at least one LED trigger circuit is built into the bulb housing and has electric components to deliver an electric signal from a 120V AC wall power source to turn on the at least one LED for illumination according to predetermined functions, time, brightness, color, and effects,
wherein:
(a) the at least one LED is located in the base or a lower portion of the housing and emits light beams to a top of the housing that has an optical element to convert a narrow, spot-light effect of the at least one LED to a surface-light and/or area light effect;
(b) the optical element is installed on the night light o enhance visibility of the light beams emitted by the at least one LED;
(c) the at least one LED emits a single color or multiple colors; and
(d) the base of the housing fits into an existing incandescent-bulb receiving socket,
wherein the LED night light has at least one electrical outlet to receive a metal conductive piece to supply an electrical current thereto.
6. The multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the added-function device performs frequency modulation to deliver and/or transmit a wired or wireless electric signal having a predetermined frequency to another electric device.
7. The multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the electric message device is an audio, video, sound, and/or digital data device.
8. The multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the added-function device is a surge protection device having circuitry to prevent a high voltage electric signal from getting into and damaging the multiple function.

The multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the added-function device includes a camera and/or a wireless communication device the data storage device is a memory unit, SD card, micro SD card, to enable a photo, video, or sound to be saved into the data storage device and/or wireless transmitted or communicated to another electric device.
10. The multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the added-function device is an adaptor having at least one receiving unit to receive a male connector to get and/or supply power, and/or deliver an electric signal, from the multiple function LED night light.
11. The multiple function LED night light as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said night light provides floor illumination, wall illumination, ceiling illumination, or multiple direction illumination, or serves as an LED indicator light to be viewed from the front of the night light.
