Abstract

A mobile system for a user includes a telephone having one or more sensors to capture fitness data or vital sign data, the telephone having a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor to communicate fitness or vital sign data over a personal area network; and a processor coupled to the personal area network to process the fitness or vital sign data.

Claims (34)

1 . A system comprising:

a processor;

a vibration motor configured to communicate with the processor;

an accelerometer configured to communicate with the processor, the accelerometer to capture data regarding movement;

one or more light emitting diodes;

a memory to store a plurality of data captured by the accelerometer; and

a wireless transmitter configured to communicate with a remote device via Wi-FI or Bluetooth.

2 . The system of claim further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to generate sleep data.

3 . The system of claim 2 wherein the computer code to generate sleep data is configured to use the data regarding movement captured by the accelerometer to generate sleep data.

4 . The system of claim 1 further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to cause the vibration motor to vibrate.

5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the computer code to cause the vibration motor to vibrate includes instructions to, when executed by the processor, cause the vibration motor to vibrate at a predetermined time.

6 . The system of claim 1 further comprising a health application configured to:

a. receive the data regarding movement; and

b. generate one or more displays using the data regarding movement.

7 . The system of claim 6 wherein the health application is configured to receive the data regarding movement via the wireless transmitter.

8 . The system of claim 1 further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to activate the one or more light emitting diodes.

9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the computer code to activate the one or more light emitting diodes includes instructions to, when executed by the processor, activate the one or more light emitting diodes based on at least the data regarding movement captured by the accelerometer.

10 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to determine an amount of calories burned using at least the data regarding movement.

11 . The system of claim 10 further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to activate the one or more light emitting diodes based on at least the determined amount of calories burned.

12 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to determine an amount of steps taken using at least the data regarding movement.

13 . The system of claim 12 further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to activate the one or more light emitting diodes based on at least the determined amount of steps taken.

14 . A system comprising:

a processor;

a heart sensor, configured to communicate with the processor, to capture data regarding heart rate;

a vibration motor configured to communicate with the processor;

an accelerometer configured to communicate with the processor, the accelerometer to capture data regarding movement;

a touch screen display configured to communicate with the processor; and

a wireless transceiver configured to communicate with the processor and configured to communicate with a remote device via Wi-FI or Bluetooth.

15 . The system of claim 14 further comprising a GPS sensor to capture location data.

16 . The system of claim 15 further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to generate display data regarding a plurality of visited locations using at least the location data captured by the GPS sensor.

17 . The system of claim 16 wherein the touch screen is configured to display the display data regarding the plurality of visited locations.

18 . The system of claim 14 further comprising computer code, executable by the processor, to generate display data regarding at least two of calories burned, steps taken, and distance traveled, using at least the data regarding movement.

19 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the touch screen is configured to display one or more of the display data regarding calories burned, steps taken, and distance traveled.

20 . The system of claim 14 wherein the wireless transceiver is configured to receive text messaging data from a remote device, and wherein the touch screen is configured to display the received text messaging data.
