Abstract

It is an object of the invention to realize automatic video generation displaying in an easily understandable manner the state of brush stroke as effectively maintaining immersion feeling happened by looking-around operation during reproduction of the image production of an omnidirectional image. A stroke information group is associated with valid line-of-sight information from a reproduction sequence recording the line-of-sight information and the stroke information group. The number of frames between a pair of line-of-sight information is made constant. When the line-of-sight moves from a line-of-sight A via a line-of-sight B to a line-of-sight C, the stroke information group corresponding to the line-of-sight B is reproduced in a range from “a frame of a center between the line-of-sight information A and B” to “a frame of a center between the line-of-sight information B and C”.

Claims (29)

1. A video generation device for generating a video showing production of a drawing image made via a sequence of brush strokes using an omnidirectional image edition apparatus, the device comprising:

a memory storing a video generation program; and

a central control unit for performing control, upon executing the video generation program stored in the memory unit,

to obtain a reproduction sequence from the omnidirectional image edition apparatus, the reproduction sequence recording manipulation of the omnidirectional image edition apparatus during the production of the drawing image, wherein

the reproduction sequence includes a plurality of pieces of line-of-sight information and a plurality of pieces of stroke information,

the line-of-sight information includes information of a line-of-sight angle and a viewing angle, and

the stroke information includes an drawing attribute and a drawing end flag, the drawing attribute including at least one of start point coordinates, end point coordinates, color information, and line width information,

to extract the plurality of pieces of the line-of-sight information from the reproduction sequence,

to correspond a group of pieces of the stroke information to each extracted piece of line-of-sight information,

to generate a plurality of reproduction frames in accordance with the plurality of pieces of the line-of-sight information, a number of the reproduction frames between adjacent pieces of the line-of-sight information being constant, and

to set, where line-of-sight moves from a first line-of-sight via a second line-of-sight to a third line-of-sight, which respectively have first, second and third pieces of line-of-sight information corresponding thereto, the group of pieces of stroke information corresponding to the second piece of line-of-sight information in a range from a reproduction frame corresponding to a center between the first and second pieces of line-of-sight information to a reproduction frame corresponding to a center between the second and third pieces of line-of-sight information.

2. A non-transitory recording medium in which a video generation program for generating a video showing production of a drawing image made via a sequence of brush strokes using an omnidirectional image edition apparatus is recorded, execution of the video generation program by a computer making the computer to function as a central control unit performing a control,

to obtain a reproduction sequence from the omnidirectional image edition apparatus, the reproduction sequence recording manipulation of the omnidirectional image edition apparatus during the production of the drawing image, wherein

the reproduction sequence includes a plurality of pieces of line-of-sight information and a plurality of pieces of stroke information,

the line-of-sight information includes information of a line-of-sight angle and a viewing angle, and

the stroke information includes an drawing attribute and a drawing end flag, the drawing attribute including at least one of start point coordinates, end point coordinates, color information, and line width information,

to extract the plurality of pieces of the line-of-sight information from the reproduction sequence,

to correspond a group of pieces of the stroke information to each extracted piece of line-of-sight information,

to generate a plurality of reproduction frames in accordance with the plurality of pieces of the line-of-sight information, a number of the reproduction frames between adjacent pieces of the line-of-sight information being constant, and

to set, where line-of-sight moves from a first line-of-sight via a second line-of-sight to a third line-of-sight, which respectively have first, second and third pieces of line-of-sight information corresponding thereto, the group of pieces of stroke information corresponding to the second piece of line-of-sight information in a range from a reproduction frame corresponding to a center between the first and second pieces of line-of-sight information to a reproduction frame corresponding to a center between the second and third pieces of line-of-sight information.

3. A video generation method for generating a video showing production of a drawing image made via a sequence of brush strokes using an omnidirectional image edition apparatus, to be performed by a central control unit of a video generation device via execution of a video generation program stored in a memory unit thereof, the video generation method comprising:

obtaining a reproduction sequence from the omnidirectional image edition apparatus, the reproduction sequence recording manipulation of the omnidirectional image edition apparatus during the production of the drawing image, wherein

the reproduction sequence includes a plurality of pieces of line-of-sight information and a plurality of pieces of stroke information,

the line-of-sight information includes information of a line-of-sight angle and a viewing angle, and

the stroke information includes an drawing attribute and a drawing end flag, the drawing attribute including at least one of start point coordinates, end point coordinates, color information, and line width information,

extracting the plurality of pieces of the line-of-sight information from the reproduction sequence,

corresponding a group of pieces of the stroke information to each extracted piece of line-of-sight information,

generating a plurality of reproduction frames in accordance with the plurality of pieces of the line-of-sight information, a number of reproduction frames between two adjacent pieces of the line-of-sight information being constant, and

setting, where line-of-sight moves from a first line-of-sight via a second line-of-sight to a third line-of-sight, which respectively have first, second and third pieces of line-of-sight information corresponding thereto, the group of pieces of stroke information corresponding to the second line-of-sight, which includes stoke information corresponding to a range of reproduction frames from a frame at a center between the first and second pieces of line-of-sight information to a frame at a center between the second and third pieces of line-of-sight information.
