Abstract

A system of tools and components that enable wrap users to interact with a wrap package infrastructure, creating and improving a wrap user experience. The system and components include a wrap authoring tool, a wrap runtime viewer, a wrap asset management tool, and a wrap library. Through these tools and components, wrap users (i) contact and interact with the wrap infrastructure and (ii) are empowered with the ability to author, receive, distribute, share, view, consume, categorize, organize and distribute wrap packages, which together, enhance and define the overall wrap user experience.

Claims (39)

1 . A wrap package library, embedded in a tangible computer readable medium, the wrap package library associated with a first wrap user and comprising:

a share tool for sharing the wrap package with a second wrap user not associated with the wrap package library,

wherein the wrap package is defined at runtime by a wrap package descriptor, the wrap package descriptor:

(i) specifying a plurality of cards included in the wrap package; and

(ii) including a plurality of card descriptors, each card descriptor arranged to define content, a structure and a layout of an associated one of the plurality of cards of the wrap package respectively.

2 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the share tool is configured to share the wrap package by inserting a cover containing a wrap ID associated with the wrap package in a message and sending the message to the second wrap user.

3 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the share tool is further configured to share the wrap package by including a wrap ID associated with the wrap package in a link and including the link in a message that is sent to the second user.

4 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the share tool is further configured to share the wrap package by inserting a wrap ID associated with the wrap package in a post and inserting the post into a social media feed.

5 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , further comprising a category tool for creating and defining one or more categories in the wrap package library for organizing a plurality of wrap packages.

6 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the one or more categories for organizing the plurality of wrap packages include:

(i) saved;

(ii) following;

(iii) discover

(iv) trending; or

(v) promotional

(vi) brand; and/or

(vii) tagged.

7 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the wrap package is saved in the wrap package library in a format of a cover including a wrap ID associated with the wrap package.

8 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the wrap package is saved in the wrap package library in a format of a URL including a wrap ID associated with the wrap package.

9 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the wrap package is saved in the wrap package library in a format including the wrap package descriptor.

10 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the wrap package is saved in the wrap package library as an instantiation of the wrap package.

11 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein state information associated with the wrap package is further saved in the wrap package library.

12 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , further comprising tools for performing one or more of the following:

(a) copying the wrap package;

(b) cutting the wrap package;

(c) pasting the wrap package;

(d) sharing the wrap package;

(e) categorizing the wrap package;

(f) selecting the wrap package for viewing;

(g) dragging and dropping the wrap package; and/or

(h) deleting the wrap package from the wrap package library.

13 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , further comprising a tagging tool for tagging the wrap package with a name or identifier in the wrap package library.

14 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the wrap package library is implemented in one or more of the following:

(a) in local storage associated with a computing device associated with the first wrap user;

(b) in cloud storage space associated with the first wrap user.

(c) in a wrap server store located on a network.

15 . The wrap package library of claim 1 , wherein the wrap package library is either:

(a) dedicated only to the first wrap user, or

(b) shared among multiple wrap users including the first wrap user.
