TREATMENT METHOD
A method for treating cartilage includes bringing a surgical portion into contact with the cartilage, heating the cartilage to a temperature of 120° C. or higher by the surgical portion and excising an area of the cartilage that has been heated to the temperature of 120° C. or higher by the surgical portion.
1 . A method for treating cartilage, comprising:
bringing a surgical portion into contact with the cartilage;
heating the cartilage to a temperature of 120° C. or higher by the surgical portion; and
excising an area of the cartilage that has been heated to the temperature of 120° C. or higher by the surgical portion.
2 . The method for treating cartilage according to claim 1 , wherein the cartilage is heated to a temperature not exceeding 220° C.
3 . The method for treating cartilage according to claim 1 , wherein the cartilage is heated to a temperature not exceeding 160° C.
4 . A method for treating cartilage, comprising:
bringing a surgical portion that generates treatment energy into contact with the cartilage; and
heating the cartilage to a temperature of 120° C. or higher by the surgical portion.
