Tricyclic fused thiophene derivatives as JAK inhibitors
View Patent ↗The present invention provides tricyclic fused thiophene derivatives, as well as their compositions and methods of use, that modulate the activity of Janus kinase (JAK) and are useful in the treatment of diseases related to the activity of JAK including, for example, inflammatory disorders, autoimmune disorders, cancer, and other diseases.
1. A method of ameliorating or inhibiting an inflammatory disease in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering to said patient a therapeutically effective amount of a compound, which is ((2R,5S)-5-{2-[(1R)-1-hydroxyethyl]-1H-imidazo[4,5-d]thieno[3,2-b]pyridin-1-yl}tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)acetonitrile, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein said compound is ((2R,5S)-5-{2-[(1R)-1-hydroxyethyl]-1H-imidazo[4,5-d]thieno[3,2-b]pyridin-1-yl}tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)acetonitrile monohydrate.
3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein said inflammatory disease is sarcoidosis.
4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein said inflammatory disease is an inflammatory disease of the eye.
5. The method according to claim 4 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the eye is iritis.
6. The method according to claim 4 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the eye is uveitis.
7. The method according to claim 4 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the eye is scleritis.
8. The method according to claim 4 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the eye is conjunctivitis.
9. The method according to claim 4 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the eye is blepharitis.
10. The method according to claim 1 , wherein said inflammatory disease is an inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract.
11. The method according to claim 10 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract is an inflammatory disease of the upper respiratory tract.
12. The method according to claim 10 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract is rhinitis.
13. The method according to claim 10 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract is sinusitis.
14. The method according to claim 10 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract is an inflammatory disease of the lower respiratory tract.
15. The method according to claim 10 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract is bronchitis.
16. The method according to claim 10 , wherein said inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
17. The method according to claim 1 , wherein said inflammatory disease is inflammatory myopathy.
18. The method according to claim 17 , wherein said inflammatory myopathy is myocarditis.
19. The method according to claim 1 , wherein said inflammatory disease is systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS).
20. The method according to claim 1 , wherein said inflammatory disease is septic shock.
