Abstract

A novel electronic device is provided. Alternatively an electronic device of a novel embodiment is provided. An electronic device includes a ring portion and a display portion. The display portion is flexible. The display portion has a top surface and a first side surface in contact with at least one side of the top surface. The first side surface has a curved surface. The top surface includes a first display region. The first side surface includes a second display region. The first display region and the second display region are continuously provided. The electronic device is mounted such that the ring portion is in contact with a user's finger.

Claims (41)

1. An electronic device comprising:

a ring portion comprising a secondary battery; and

a display portion fixed to the ring portion,

wherein the display portion comprises a top surface and a first side surface,

wherein the first side surface comprises a first curved surface when seen from a first direction,

wherein the ring portion comprises a second curved surface when seen from a second direction,

wherein the secondary battery is electrically connected to the display portion,

wherein the secondary battery comprises a third curved surface along the second curved surface,

wherein the first direction is substantially perpendicular to the second direction,

wherein the top surface comprises a first display region,

wherein the first side surface comprises a second display region, and

wherein the first display region and the second display region are continuously provided.

2. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is configured to be mounted on a finger.

3. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the first side surface includes a part of a side surface of a cylinder or an elliptical cylinder.

4. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the ring portion includes a band-like region, and wherein a width of the band-like region of the ring portion is smaller than a width of the display portion.

5. The electronic device according to claim 1 , further comprising a first touch input portion, wherein the first touch input portion is included in the first display region.

6. The electronic device according to claim 1 , further comprising a second touch input portion, wherein the second touch input portion is included in the second display region.

7. The electronic device according to claim 1 , further comprising an attachment included in the display portion, wherein the attachment is detachable from the ring portion.

8. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the ring portion includes an amorphous alloy.

9. An electronic device comprising:

a ring portion; and

a display portion fixed to the ring portion,

wherein the display portion comprises a top surface and a first side surface,

wherein the first side surface comprises a first curved surface when seen from a first direction,

wherein the ring portion comprises a second curved surface when seen from a second direction,

wherein the first direction is substantially perpendicular to the second direction,

wherein the ring portion comprises a band-like region,

wherein the ring portion comprises a secondary battery, and the secondary battery is electrically connected to the display portion,

wherein the secondary battery comprises a third curved surface along the second curved surface,

wherein the ring portion comprises a flexible material, and

wherein a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the secondary battery are surrounded by a film.

10. The electronic device according to claim 9 , wherein the electronic device is configured to be mounted on a finger.

11. The electronic device according to claim 9 ,

wherein the top surface includes a first display region,

wherein the first side surface includes a second display region, and

wherein the first display region and the second display region are continuously provided.

12. The electronic device according to claim 9 , wherein a width of the band-like region of the ring portion is smaller than a width of the display portion.

13. The electronic device according to claim 11 , further comprising a first touch input portion, wherein the first touch input portion is included in the first display region.

14. The electronic device according to claim 11 , further comprising a second touch input portion, wherein the second touch input portion is included in the second display region.

15. The electronic device according to claim 9 , further comprising an attachment included in the display portion, wherein the attachment is detachable from the ring portion.

16. The electronic device according to claim 9 , wherein the ring portion includes an amorphous alloy.
