Media management system supporting a plurality of mobile devices
View Patent ↗An interactive media management server that facilitates management of interactive media and delivery of such interactive media. It comprises a first interface to an interactive media distribution server communicatively coupled to a plurality of mobile devices, and a second interface to a service provider system or a content provider system. It comprises a manager module for managing creation, distribution and tracking of a plurality of interactive media. The manager module, via the second interface, manages the delivery of the plurality of interactive media from the service provider system or the content provider system, and the communication of user responses to the plurality of interactive media to the corresponding service provider system or content provider system.
1. A method comprising:
providing, for display within an interactive creation tool on a computing device, a plurality of different survey question types for electronic surveys;
receiving, from the computing device via the interactive creation tool, an indication of a first selection of a first survey question type from the plurality of different survey question types, the first survey question type comprising a textual query for an electronic survey, a first selectable option to reply to the textual query, and a second selectable option to reply to the textual query;
receiving, from the computing device via the interactive creation tool, an indication of a second selection of a second survey question type of the plurality of different survey question types, the second survey question type comprising a sample version of an interactive-media item,
a request for visual media, and a selectable upload option to upload visual media items, wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item is generated according to one or more user inputs from the computing device via the interactive creation tool; and
generating an electronic survey comprising a first survey question corresponding to the first survey question type and a second survey question corresponding to the second survey question type, wherein the second survey question is presented based on receiving an indication of a user selection of the first selectable option replying to the textual query and not the second selectable option replying to the textual query.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item comprises a sample from a plurality of interactive-media items.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the request for visual media comprises a solicitation for visual media in response to the sample version of the interactive-media item.
4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item comprises an initial portion of the interactive-media item.
5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the request for visual media comprises a solicitation for a video clip in response to the sample version of the interactive-media item.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second survey question type comprising the request for visual media comprises a request for a digital image of a user.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second survey question type comprising the request for visual media comprises a request for a digital video of a user.
8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second survey question type comprises an additional textual query and a selectable media graphical element that, when selected by a user, activates a camera on a respondent computing device.
9. A system, comprising:
at least one processor; and
at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
provide, for display within an interactive creation tool on a computing device, a plurality of different survey question types for electronic surveys;
receive, from the computing device via the interactive creation tool, an indication of a first selection of a first survey question type from the plurality of different survey question types, the first survey question type comprising a textual query for an electronic survey, a first selectable option to reply to the textual query, and a second selectable option to reply to the textual query;
receive, from the computing device via the interactive creation tool, an indication of a second selection of a second survey question type of the plurality of different survey question types, the second survey question type comprising a sample version of an interactive-media item, a request for visual media, and a selectable upload option to upload visual media items, wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item is generated according to one or more user inputs from the computing device via the interactive creation tool; and
generate an electronic survey comprising a first survey question corresponding to the first survey question type and a second survey question corresponding to the second survey question type, wherein the second survey question is presented based on receiving an indication of a user selection of the first selectable option replying to the textual query and not the second selectable option replying to the textual query.
10. The system of claim 9 , wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item comprises a sample from a plurality of interactive-media items.
11. The system of claim 9 , wherein the request for visual media comprises a solicitation for visual media in response to the sample version of the interactive-media item.
12. The system of claim 9 , wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item comprises an initial portion of the interactive-media item.
13. The system of claim 9 , wherein the request for visual media comprises a solicitation for a video clip in response to the sample version of the interactive-media item.
14. The system of claim 9 , wherein the second survey question type comprising the request for visual media comprises a request for a digital video of a user.
15. A non-transitory computer readable storage media storing instructions thereon that, when executed by a processor, cause a computer system to:
provide, for display within an interactive creation tool on a computing device, a plurality of different survey question types for electronic surveys;
receive, from the computing device via the interactive creation tool, an indication of a first selection of a first survey question type from the plurality of different survey question types, the first survey question type comprising a textual query for an electronic survey, a first selectable option to reply to the textual query, and a second selectable option to reply to the textual query;
receive, from the computing device via the interactive creation tool, an indication of a second selection of a second survey question type of the plurality of different survey question types, the second survey question type comprising a sample version of an interactive-media item, a request for visual media, and a selectable upload option to upload visual media items, wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item is generated according to one or more user inputs from the computing device via the interactive creation tool; and
generate an electronic survey comprising a first survey question corresponding to the first survey question type and a second survey question corresponding to the second survey question type, wherein the second survey question is presented based on receiving an indication of a user selection of the first selectable option replying to the textual query and not the second selectable option replying to the textual query.
16. The non-transitory computer readable storage media of claim 15 , wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item comprises a sample from a plurality of interactive-media items.
17. The non-transitory computer readable storage media of claim 15 , wherein the request for visual media comprises a solicitation for visual media in response to the sample version of the interactive-media item.
18. The non-transitory computer readable storage media of claim 15 , wherein the sample version of the interactive-media item comprises an initial portion of the interactive-media item.
19. The non-transitory computer readable storage media of claim 15 , wherein the request for visual media comprises a solicitation for a video clip in response to the sample version of the interactive-media item.
20. The non-transitory computer readable storage media of claim 15 , wherein the second survey question type comprising the request for visual media comprises a request for a digital video of a user.
