Methods and Devices for Detecting Kidney Damage
Methods and devices for diagnosing, monitoring, or determining kidney damage in a mammal are described. In particular, methods and devices for diagnosing, monitoring, or determining kidney damage using measured concentrations of a combination of three or more analytes in a test sample taken from the mammal are described.

32 . A method comprising:
a) providing a test sample comprising a sample of bodily fluid taken from the mammal wherein the mammal has, or is suspected of having, kidney damage caused by a condition selected from the group consisting of analgesic abuse, obstructive uropathy, diabetic nephropathy, and glomerulonephritis; and
b) performing at least one immunoassay on the sample to measure concentrations of at least three biomarker analytes comprising three or more of Alpha-1-Microglobulin (A1M), Beta-2-Microglobulin (B2M), Cystatin-C (Cyst C), Kidney Injury Molecule-1 (KIM-1), Neutrophil Gelatinase-associated Lipocalin (NGAL), Osteopontin (OPN), Tamm-Horsfall Urinary Glycoprotein (THP), Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1), or Trefoil Factor 3 (TFF-3).
33 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the bodily fluid is selected from the group consisting of urine, blood, plasma, serum, saliva, semen, and tissue lysates.
34 . The method of claim 32 , further comprising determining a response to kidney damage therapy based on the measured concentrations.
35 . The method of claim 32 , further comprising selecting a kidney damage therapy based on the measured concentrations.
