Abstract

An online and offline communication processing and tracking using data processing and data/voice networks is described. A phone address from a phone address number pool is automatically assigned to a first entity. A call quality rating is determined and recorded. A call from a caller directed to the phone address is received at a call bridging system coupled to at least one network, wherein the call is associated with call signaling information. Based at least in part on the call quality associated with the caller call, the caller call is assigned to a first location in a call queue. An outbound call is generated from the call bridging system and the inbound and the outbound calls are bridged. One or more parameters of the bridged call are compared to the call quality rating. An indication is recorded regarding the successful bridging of the calls in association with an entity identifier.

Claims (45)

1. A system comprising:

a computing device;

a telephony interface configured to be coupled to a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN);

non-transitory media storing instructions readable by the computing device, that when executed by the computing device, cause the computing device to:

receive an indication over a network from a social network system of a social media action associated with a customer prospect;

at least partly in response to receipt of the indication of the social media action from the social network system, enter the customer prospect into a campaign in association with a phone number uniquely associated with the customer prospect during the campaign, wherein the phone number is selected from a pool of phone numbers and the unique association of the customer prospect with the phone number is stored in memory;

cause, at least in part, one or more customer prospect communications associated with the campaign to be transmitted to one or more customer prospect terminals and displayed to the customer prospect, wherein the one or more customer prospect communications include the phone number associated with the customer prospect;

receive an incoming call from a calling party directed to the phone number associated with the customer prospect, the incoming call including call related information, the call related information including at least a phone number associated with the calling party;

store the received calling party phone number of the incoming call in association with an identifier associated with the customer prospect; and

at least partly in response to the received incoming call, cause a campaign funnel stage change of the customer prospect, the campaign funnel stage representing an indication of a likelihood that a customer prospect will be a customer for a good or service.

2. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the customer prospect comprises an existing customer.

3. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the social media action comprises a social media like indication.

4. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the social media action comprises a social media message posted on a social media user interface.

5. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the social media action comprises a micro-blog post.

6. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the system is further configured to: direct the incoming call to a call center associated with the campaign.

7. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the call related information of the incoming call is transmitted to a call center associated with the campaign.

8. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the incoming call is received via an Internet Protocol connection.

9. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the incoming call is received via the telephone interface.

10. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein at least a first of the one or more customer prospect communications is configured to be displayed to the customer prospect in a Webpage.

11. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the phone number uniquely associated with the customer prospect during the campaign comprises a phone number local to the customer prospect.

12. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein at least a first of the one or more customer prospect communications is configured to be displayed to the customer prospect within the context of an application software application program hosted on an Internet-connected computing device of the customer prospect.

13. The system as defined in claim 1 , wherein the phone number uniquely associated with the customer prospect during the campaign comprises a toll-free phone number.

14. A computer storage system comprising a non-transitory storage device, said computer storage system having stored thereon executable program instructions that direct a computer system to perform operations comprising:

cause, at least in part, a phone address to be associated with a campaign, wherein the phone address is selected from a pool of phone addresses and the association of the campaign with the phone address is stored in memory;

receive an indication from a social network system of a social media action associated with a customer prospect;

at least partly in response to receipt of the indication of the social media action from the social network system, enter the customer prospect into the campaign;

cause, at least in part, one or more customer prospect communications associated with the campaign to be transmitted to one or more customer prospect terminals and to be displayed to the customer prospect, wherein the one or more customer prospect communications include the phone address;

receive an incoming call from a calling party directed to the phone address, the incoming call including call related information, the call related information including at least a phone address associated with the calling party;

store the calling party phone address of the incoming call in association with the campaign;

attribute the incoming call event to the campaign based at least in part on a determination that the incoming call is directed to the phone address associated with the campaign; and

at least partly in response to the received incoming call, cause a campaign funnel stage change of the customer prospect, the campaign funnel stage representing an indication of a likelihood that a customer prospect will be a customer for a good or service.

15. The computer storage system as defined in claim 14 , wherein the customer prospect comprises an existing customer.

16. The computer storage system as defined in claim 14 , wherein the executable program instructions further direct the computer system to: direct the incoming call to a call center associated with the campaign.

17. The computer storage system as defined in claim 14 , wherein at least a portion of the call related information of the incoming call is transmitted to a call center associated with the campaign.

18. The computer storage system as defined in claim 14 , wherein at least a first of the one or more communications is configured to be displayed to the customer prospect in a Webpage.

19. The computer storage system as defined in claim 14 , wherein at least a first of the one or more communications is configured to be displayed to the customer prospect within the context of an application software application program hosted on an Internet-connected computing device of the customer prospect.

20. The computer storage system as defined in claim 14 , wherein the phone address comprises a toll-free phone address.

21. A computer storage system comprising a non-transitory storage device, said computer storage system having stored thereon executable program instructions that direct a computer system to perform operations comprising:

receive an indication of an action within the context of an application software program hosted on an Internet-connected computing device of a customer prospect;

at least partly in response to receipt of the indication of the action within the context of the application software program, enter the customer prospect into a campaign associated with a phone address, wherein the phone address is selected from a pool of phone addresses and the phone address is uniquely associated with the customer prospect during the campaign;

cause, at least in part, one or more customer prospect communications associated with the campaign to be displayed to the customer prospect on the Internet-connected computing device of the customer prospect, wherein the one or more customer prospect communications include the phone address uniquely associated with the customer prospect during the campaign;

receive an incoming call from a calling party directed to the phone address uniquely associated with the customer prospect during the campaign, the incoming call including call related information, the call related information including at least a phone address associated with the calling party;

store the received calling party phone address of the incoming call in association with an identifier corresponding to the customer prospect; and

at least partly in response to the received incoming call, cause a campaign funnel stage change of the customer prospect, the campaign funnel stage representing an indication of a likelihood that a customer prospect will be a customer for a good or service.

22. The computer storage system as defined in claim 21 , wherein the Internet-connected computing device of the customer prospect comprises a mobile device.
