Abstract

A transmitting terminal can transmit a content held by itself to a specific receiving terminal having no email software as if using a mailer. The transmitting terminal ( 10 ) and the receiving terminal ( 20 ) are connected to a delivery server ( 30 ) via a network ( 4 ). The delivery server ( 30 ) comprises: a database ( 36 ) for registering the device ID that specifies the receiving terminal ( 20 ); a content storage ( 39 ) for temporarily storing a content transmitted from the transmitting terminal ( 10 ); and table ( 33, 37 ) for managing contents separately on a per device ID basis of the receiving terminal. The delivery server ( 30 ), when receiving a request from the receiving terminal ( 20 ), refers to the tables ( 33, 27 ) and transmits to the receiving terminal ( 20 ) a content, the transmission destination of which corresponds to the device ID of the receiving terminal ( 20 ).

Claims (30)

1. A content delivery system comprising: a transmitting terminal, a receiving terminal and a delivery server,

wherein the delivery server comprises a database which registers first information for identifying the transmitting terminal and second information for identifying the receiving terminal being associated with each other, and a content storage which stores picture contents transmitted from the transmitting terminal,

wherein, in case that the transmitting terminal transmits a new picture content to the delivery server, the receiving terminal receives a first notice indicating that the new picture content is stored in the content storage, and

wherein the receiving terminal displays a list of the picture contents which are transmitted from the transmitting terminal and stored in the content storage, information about a sender who transmitted listed picture contents, and a comment inputted by the transmitting terminal.

2. The content delivery system according to claim 1 ,

wherein the receiving terminal furthermore displays a group of the picture contents.

The content delivery system according to claim 1 , wherein, in case that the receiving terminal receives a second notice which indicates whether or not the delivery server registers the receiving terminal, the receiving terminal accepts an access to the delivery server via the second notice and the delivery server allows the receiving terminal to download picture contents transmitted from the transmitting terminal, and

in response to downloading request from the registered receiving terminal, the delivery server transmits the picture content to the receiving terminal.

4. A content delivery system comprising a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal,

wherein the transmitting terminal and the receiving terminal couple to a delivery server which comprises a data base which registers first information for identifying the transmitting terminal and second information for identifying the receiving terminal being associated with each other, and a content storage which stores picture contents transmitted from the transmitting terminal,

wherein, in case that the transmitting terminal transmits a new picture content to the delivery server, the receiving terminal receives a first notice indicating that the new picture content is stored in the content storage, and

wherein the receiving terminal displays a list of the picture contents which are transmitted from the transmitting terminal and stored in the content storage, information about a sender who transmitted listed picture contents, and a comment inputted by the transmitting terminal.

5. The content delivery system according to claim 4 , wherein the receiving terminal furthermore displays a group of the picture contents.

6. The content delivery system according to claim 4 ,

wherein, in case that the receiving terminal receives a second notice which indicates whether or not the delivery server registers the receiving terminal, the receiving terminal accepts an access to the delivery server via the second notice and the delivery server allows the receiving terminal to download picture contents transmitted from the transmitting terminal, and

in response to downloading request from the registered receiving terminal, the delivery server transmits the picture content to the receiving terminal.

A receiving terminal coupled to a transmitting terminal and a delivery server which comprises a database which registers first information for identifying the transmitting terminal and second information for identifying the receiving terminal being associated with each other, and a content storage which stores picture contents transmitted from the transmitting terminal, the receiving terminal comprising:

a receiver receiving a first notice indicating that a new picture content, which is transmitted from the transmitting terminal to the delivery server, is stored in the content storage, and

a display displaying a list of the picture contents which are transmitted from the transmitting terminal and stored in the content storage, information about a sender who transmitted listed picture contents and a comment inputted by the transmitting terminal.

8. The receiving terminal according to claim 7 , wherein the display further displays a group of the picture contents.

The receiving terminal according to claim 7 , wherein the receiving terminal downloads picture contents transmitted from the transmitting terminal to the delivery server in case that the receiving terminal receives a second notice which indicates whether or not the delivery server registers the receiving terminal, the receiving terminal accepts an access to the delivery server via the second notice and the download is allowed by the delivery server.

A method for delivering picture contents among a transmitting terminal, a receiving terminal and a delivery server which comprises a database which registers first information for identifying the transmitting terminal and second information for identifying the receiving terminal being associated with each other, and a content storage which stores picture contents transmitted from the transmitting terminal,

the method comprising the steps of:

transmitting a first notice indicating that a new picture content is stored in the content storage from the transmitting terminal to the receiving terminal in case that the transmitting terminal transmits the new picture content to the delivery server; and

displaying, by the receiving terminal, a list of the picture contents which are transmitted from the transmitting terminal and stored in the content storage, information about a sender who transmitted listed picture contents, and a comment inputted by the transmitting terminal.

11. The method for delivering picture contents according to claim 10 , furthermore comprising the step of displaying, by the receiving terminal, a group of the picture contents.

12. The method for delivering picture contents according to claim 10 , furthermore comprising the steps of:

in case that the receiving terminal receives a second notice which indicates whether or not the delivery server registers the receiving terminal and the receiving terminal accepts an access to the delivery server via the second notice,

allowing, by the delivery server, the receiving terminal to download picture contents transmitted from the transmitting terminal, and

in response to downloading request from the registered receiving terminal, transmitting the picture content from the delivery server to the receiving terminal.
