Abstract

A wireless device receives a plurality of parameters of a plurality of cells grouped into a plurality of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups comprising a primary PUCCH group and a secondary PUCCH group. The plurality of parameters comprise configuration parameters for a secondary cell. The secondary cell is mapped to the secondary PUCCH group if a first parameter is present in the configuration parameters, otherwise the secondary cell is mapped to the primary PUCCH group. The secondary cell is considered to be the PUCCH secondary cell if PUCCH parameters are present in the configuration parameters.

Claims (40)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless device, at least one message comprising a plurality of parameters of a plurality of cells grouped into a plurality of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups comprising:

a primary PUCCH group comprising a primary cell with a primary PUCCH; and

a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell with a secondary PUCCH; and

wherein:

the plurality of parameters comprise radio resource configuration (RRC) dedicated information elements (IEs) of each secondary cell in the plurality of cells;

a secondary cell other than the PUCCH secondary cell is mapped to the secondary PUCCH group if a first PUCCH parameter is present in the RRC dedicated IEs of the secondary cell when the secondary cell is added to the plurality of cells, otherwise the secondary cell is mapped to the primary PUCCH group; and

a secondary cell is considered to be the PUCCH secondary cell if second PUCCH parameters are present in the RRC dedicated IEs;

transmitting first channel state information of one or more secondary cells via the secondary PUCCH of the PUCCH secondary cell, in response to the one or more secondary cells being in the secondary PUCCH group; and

transmitting second channel state information of one or more cells of the primary PUCCH group via primary PUCCH of the primary cell, in response to the one or more cells being in the primary PUCCH group.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the secondary cell is not considered to be the PUCCH secondary cell if PUCCH parameters are not present in the RRC dedicated IEs.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting channel state information on the secondary PUCCH.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting channel state information for the secondary cell on the PUCCH secondary cell if the first parameter is present in the RRC dedicated IEs of the secondary cell.

5. A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive at least one message comprising a plurality of parameters of a plurality of cells grouped into a plurality of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups comprising:

a primary PUCCH group comprising a primary cell with a primary PUCCH; and

a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell with a secondary PUCCH; and

wherein:

the plurality of parameters comprise radio resource configuration (RRC) dedicated information elements (IEs) of each secondary cell in the plurality of cells,

a secondary cell other than the PUCCH secondary cell is mapped to the secondary PUCCH group if a first PUCCH parameter is present in the RRC dedicated IEs of the secondary cell when the secondary cell is added to the plurality of cells, otherwise the secondary cell is mapped to the primary PUCCH group; and

a secondary cell is considered to be the PUCCH secondary cell if second PUCCH parameters are present in the RRC dedicated IEs;

transmit first channel state information of one or more secondary cells via the secondary PUCCH of the PUCCH secondary cell, in response to the one or more secondary cells being in the secondary PUCCH group; and

transmit second channel state information of one or more cells of the primary PUCCH group via primary PUCCH of the primary cell, in response to the one or more cells being in the primary PUCCH group.

6. The wireless device of claim 5 , wherein the secondary cell is not considered to be the PUCCH secondary cell if PUCCH parameters are not present in the RRC dedicated IEs.

7. The wireless device of claim 5 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further cause the wireless device to transmit channel state information on the secondary PUCCH.

8. The wireless device of claim 5 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further cause the wireless device to transmit channel state information for the secondary cell on the PUCCH secondary cell if the first parameter is present in the RRC dedicated IEs of the secondary cell.

9. A method comprising:

transmitting, by a base station, at least one message comprising a plurality of parameters of a plurality of cells grouped into a plurality of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups comprising:

a primary PUCCH group comprising a primary cell with a primary PUCCH; and

a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell with a secondary PUCCH; and

wherein:

the plurality of parameters comprise radio resource configuration (RRC) dedicated information elements (IEs) of each secondary cell in the plurality of cells;

a secondary cell other than the PUCCH secondary cell is mapped to the secondary PUCCH group if a first PUCCH parameter is present in the RRC dedicated IEs of the secondary cell when the secondary cell is added to the plurality of cells, otherwise the secondary cell is mapped to the primary PUCCH group; and

a secondary cell is considered to be the PUCCH secondary cell if second PUCCH parameters are present in the RRC dedicated IEs;

receiving first channel state information of one or more secondary cells via the secondary PUCCH of the PUCCH secondary cell, in response to the one or more secondary cells being in the secondary PUCCH group; and

receiving second channel state information of one or more cells of the primary PUCCH group via primary PUCCH of the primary cell, in response to the one or more cells being in the primary PUCCH group.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the secondary cell is not considered to be the PUCCH secondary cell if PUCCH parameters are not present in the RRC dedicated IEs.

11. The method of claim 9 , further comprising receiving channel state information for the secondary cell on the PUCCH secondary cell if the first parameter is present in the RRC dedicated IEs of the secondary cell.
