ADJUSTING A TRANSPARENT DISPLAY WITH AN IMAGE CAPTURING DEVICE
A system and method for adjusting a display an image capturing device is provided. The method includes receiving an image, detecting a facial feature, such as eyes squinting, and adjusting a contrast of a display accordingly. As such, by employing a facial feature detection technique, a display may more dynamically provide an updated contrast.
1 . A method for adjusting a display with an image capturing device, comprising:
receiving an image from the image capturing device, the image capturing device being oriented towards a driver of a vehicle;
detecting, from the received image, a facial feature of eyes squinting; and
adjusting a contrast of the display based on a detection of the eyes squinting.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the display is a transparent display.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising receiving data from an environmental sensor.
4 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the adjusting further comprises employing a combination of the detection of squinting and the received data from the environmental sensor.
