Abstract

A mobile recycling plant with a single diesel engine to power the crusher intermittently and the generator continuously, with a return conveyor discharge chute 502 that is automatically stowed by merely folding the top portion of the return conveyor, with a automatic retraction of the return conveyor 130 by merely lower the screening machine, with a dual screen dual angle screening machine, and with a system for deploying a ferrous metal removal system 160.

Claims (28)

1. A mobile recycling plant comprising:

a diesel engine having an output shaft for providing rotary mechanical power;

an electric generator, receiving rotary mechanical power from said diesel engine;

a fluid coupler, coupled to said output shaft of said diesel engine;

a crusher, receiving rotary mechanical power from said fluid coupler; and

said diesel engine, said electric generator, said fluid coupler and said crusher, being configured in combination so that said electric generator can be powered continuously while said crusher is powered on and off repeatedly.

2. A mobile recycling plant comprising:

a diesel engine having an output shaft for providing rotary mechanical power;

an electric generator, receiving rotary mechanical power from said diesel engine;

a fluid coupler, coupled to said output shaft of said diesel engine;

a crusher receiving rotary mechanical power from said fluid coupler;

electric powered material processing equipment; and

said diesel engine, said electric generator, said fluid coupler and said crusher, being configured in combination so that said electric generator can be powered continuously, to power said electric powered material processing equipment, while said crusher is powered on and off repeatedly.

3. A mobile recycling plant of claim 2 wherein said electric powered material processing equipment comprises: a screen.

4. A mobile recycling plant of claim 3 wherein said electric powered material processing equipment includes a crusher to screen conveyor.

5. A mobile recycling plant of claim 4 wherein said electric powered material processing equipment includes a return conveyor.

6. A mobile recycling plant of claim 5 further comprising a vehicular frame and wheels.

7. A mobile recycling plant comprising:

a diesel engine having an output shaft for providing rotary mechanical power;

an electric generator, receiving rotary mechanical power from said diesel engine;

a fluid coupler, coupled to said output shaft of said diesel engine;

a crusher receiving rotary mechanical power from said fluid coupler;

electric powered material processing equipment;

said diesel engine, said electric generator, said fluid coupler and said crusher, being configured in combination so that said electric generator can be powered continuously, to power said electric powered material processing equipment, while said crusher is powered on and off repeatedly;

a screen;

a crusher to screen conveyor;

a return conveyor; and

a vehicular frame and wheels.
