MOBILE DEVICE THAT MONITORS AN INDIVIDUALS ACTIVITIES, BEHAVIORS, HABITS OR HEALTH PARAMETERS
A mobile device is provided that obtains monitored information about an individual. A display is coupled to a housing. A memory is coupled to a memory and one or more processing units (CPU's), a peripherals interface, a Network Systems circuitry and an input/output (I/O) subsystems. A system is included with one or more sensors that detects or measure an individual's activities.
1 . A monitoring system, comprising:
a monitoring device that includes a microphone an RF transmitter and sensors to determine air quality, sound level/quality, light quality and ambient temperature near the individual, the RF transmitter serving as a communication system;
an accelerometer or a movement detection device configured to detect-movement of the individual, the accelerator and the monitoring device configured to calculate or derive sleep onset and wake time, sleep interruptions, and the quality and depth of sleep, the microphone configured to record an individual's movement sounds detected by the accelerometer or the movement detection device, the accelerometer or movement detection device configured to cause the microphone to stop recording the individual's movement sounds when the movement sounds are not directed to a sleep related parameter;
a telemetry system, the telemetry system in operation receiving sleep information and sleep related parameter information data of one or more individual's, the telemetry system or the monitoring system at least partially analyzing the individual's movement information to calculate or derive a sleep or psychiatric parameter of the individual.
2 . The device of claim 2 , wherein the telemetry system includes a database of one or more routines of the individual selected from one or more of: nutrition, activity level, mind centering, sleep interruption, insomnia, difficulties in sleep, depression, daily activities and exercise.
3 . The device of claim 2 , further comprising:
one or more analysis tools at the telemetry system.
4 . The device of claim 4 , further comprising:
a feedback system or subsystem at the telemetry system that provides feedback to the individual.
5 . The device of claim 4 , wherein the one or more analysis tools in operation compares the individual information to the base individual information in the database.
6 . The device of claim 6 , wherein the base individual information includes threshold values.
7 . The device of claim 7 , the one or more analysis tools in operation compares the individual information from the system with one or more sensors to the threshold values.
8 . The device of claim 7 , further comprising:
an alert apparatus for the individual.
9 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the alert is activated when an individual information exceeds a threshold value.
10 . The device of claim 9 , wherein the alert is activated only when the individual is awake.
11 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the alert is an audio or visual alert.
12 . The device of claim 12 , wherein the monitoring system includes a display.
13 . The device of either claim 5 , wherein the feedback is in graphical form.
14 . The device of claim 5 , wherein the feedback system or subsystem in operation generates one or more web pages containing feedback.
