Additional wager in an interleaved wagering system

1. An interleaved skill wagering gaming system, comprising:

a player's gaming device constructed to:

provide an interactive application;

accept input from a player;

receive, from an application controller, an indication to provide an additional wager opportunity during execution of the player's gaming device;

provide the additional wager opportunity;

receive, from a user, an indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity;

distribute, to the application controller, the indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity;

receive, from the application controller, a wager outcome and an application resource associated with the additional wager opportunity; and

generate a display of the application resources within the interactive application;

a real credit controller constructed to:

determine the wager outcome associated with a received wager request using a random number generator; and

distribute, to the application controller, the wager outcome based on the received wager request; and

the application controller operatively connected to the player's gaming device and the real credit controller, wherein the application controller is constructed to:

determine whether to trigger the additional wager opportunity;

when the additional wager opportunity is triggered, distribute, to the player's gaming device, an indication to provide the additional wager opportunity;

receive, from the player's gaming device, the indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity;

when the indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity is received, distribute, to the real credit controller, the wager request;

receive, from the real credit controller, the wager outcome; and

when the received wager outcome is a success, distribute, to the player's gaming device, the received wager outcome and application resource associated with the additional wager opportunity.

2. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 1 ,

wherein the player's gaming device and the application controller are constructed from a same device, and

wherein the application controller is operatively connected to the real credit controller by a network.

3. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 1 ,

wherein the real credit controller and the application controller are constructed from a same device, and

wherein the application controller is operatively connected to the player's gaming device by a network.

4. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 1 ,

wherein the determination of whether to trigger the additional wager opportunity is based on an amount of credits wagered by the user.

5. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 1 ,

wherein the determination of whether to trigger the additional wager opportunity is based on an amount of credits awarded to the user.

6. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 1 ,

wherein the wager request distributed from the application controller to the real credit controller comprises an identification of a math module to be used for the execution of the wager request, and

wherein the real credit controller is further constructed to:

receive, from the application controller, the identification of the math module to be used for the execution of the wager request; and

generate the wager outcome based on the received math module.

7. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the player's gaming device is further constructed to:

upon receiving the indication from the user to engage in the additional wager opportunity, pause the interactive application; and

upon receiving the wager outcomes, resume the interactive application.

8. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the player's gaming device is further constructed to upon receiving the indication to provide the additional wager opportunity, display the application resource associated with the additional wager opportunity.

9. An interleaved skill wagering gaming system, comprising:

a real credit controller constructed to:

determine a wager outcome associated with a received wager request using a random number generator; and

distribute, to an application controller, the wager outcome associated with the received wager request; and

the application controller by a network, wherein the application controller is constructed to:

determine whether to trigger an additional wager opportunity;

when the additional wager opportunity is triggered, distribute, to the player's gaming device, an indication to provide the additional wager opportunity;

receive, from the player's gaming device, an indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity, wherein the indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity is received from a user;

when the indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity is received, distribute, to the real credit controller, the wager request;

receive, from the real credit controller, the wager outcome; and

when the received wager outcome is a success, distribute, to the player's gaming device, the received wager outcome and application resources based on the received wager outcome.

10. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 9 ,

wherein the determination of whether to trigger the additional wager opportunity is based on an amount of credits wagered by the user.

11. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 9 ,

wherein the determination of whether to trigger the additional wager opportunity is based on an amount of credits awarded to the user.

12. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 9 ,

wherein the wager request distributed from the application controller to the real credit controller comprises an identification of a math module to be used for the execution of the wager request; and

wherein the real credit controller is further constructed to:

receive, from the application controller, the identification of the math module to be used for the execution of the wager request; and

generate the wager outcome based on the received math module.

13. An interleaved skill wagering gaming system, comprising:

the player's gaming device constructed to:

provide an interactive application;

accept input from a player;

receive, from an application controller, an indication to provide an additional wager opportunity during execution of the interactive application;

provide the additional wager opportunity;

receive, from a user, an indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity;

distribute, to the application controller, the indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity;

receive, from the application controller, a wager outcome; and

generate a display of the wager outcome within the interactive application; and

the application controller operatively connecting the player's gaming device to a real credit controller, the application controller constructed to:

determine whether to trigger the additional wager opportunity;

when the additional wager opportunity is triggered, distribute, to the player's gaming device, the indication to provide the additional wager opportunity;

receive, from the player's gaming device, the indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity;

when the indication to engage in the additional wager opportunity is received, distribute, to the real credit controller, the wager request;

receive, from the real credit controller, the wager outcome determined using a random number generator;

when the received wager outcome is a success, distribute, to the player's gaming device, the received wager outcome and application resources based on the received wager outcome.

14. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 13 ,

wherein the determination of whether to trigger the additional wager opportunity is based on an amount of credits wagered by the user.

15. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 13 ,

wherein the determination of whether to trigger the additional wager opportunity is based on an amount of credits awarded to the user.

16. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 13 ,

wherein the wager request distributed from the application controller to the real credit controller comprises an identification of a math module to be used for the execution of the wager request.

17. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 13 , wherein the interactive controller is further constructed to:

upon receiving the indication from the user to engage in the additional wager opportunity, pause the interactive application; and

upon receiving the wager outcomes, resume the interactive application.

18. The interleaved skill wagering gaming system of claim 13 , wherein the interactive controller is further constructed to:

upon receiving the indication to provide the additional wager opportunity, display the application resource associated with the additional wager opportunity.
