DATA AGGREGATION AND ANALYTICS FOR DIGITAL MANUFACTURING
Systems and methods for aggregating and analyzing digital manufacturing data are disclosed. An aggregator can collect output data generated a number of digital manufacturing machines. The output data can be filtered and transmitted to a server for storage in a database. One or more clients can access the data in the database via an API.
1 . A system for aggregating and analyzing data for digital manufacturing data, the system comprising:
a plurality of digital manufacturing machines, each digital manufacturing machine comprising at least one measurement tool and a processor for generating output data measured by the at least one measurement tool;
at least one aggregator communicatively coupled to the plurality of digital manufacturing machines, the aggregator comprising a memory comprising instructions stored thereon for receiving and filtering the output data; and
at least one server communicatively coupled to the at least one aggregator, the at least one server comprising a database that stores the output data in a standardized format for retrieval by clients.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
at least one client device communicatively coupled to the at least one server, the at least one client device comprising memory having instructions stored thereon for querying the database for data stored therein.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the instructions for querying the database for data comprise an application programming interface (“API”) that establishes a protocol for communication and data retrieval between the client and the database.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of digital manufacturing machines comprise at least one additive tool.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the at least one additive tools is a 3D printer.
6 . A method for aggregating an analyzing digital manufacturing data, the method comprising:
receiving, at an aggregator, output data from a plurality of digital manufacturing machines;
combining and filtering the output data at the aggregator; and
sending the combined and filtered data to a server for storage in a database.
7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising:
querying the server, with a client device, for desired data using an API.
8 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising storing input data on the server.
