Abstract

A group charging system comprising: a base charging system configured to provide a charging service to one or more charge receiving vehicles, the base charging system comprising a database, a communications module and a business module, the communications module in communication with one or more charge receiving vehicles, the business module configured to determine a charging price; one or more charge receiving vehicles each comprising a vehicle database and configured to communicate at least a vehicle payment price for the charging service to the communication module and further configured to receive the charging service from the base station; wherein the business module at least compares the charging price with at least the vehicle payment price to determine if the charging service is offered; wherein if the charging service is offered and accepted the charging service is provided.

Claims (30)

1 . A group charging system comprising:

a base charging system configured to provide a charging service to one or more charge receiving vehicles, the base charging system comprising a database, a communications module and a business module, the communications module in communication with one or more charge receiving vehicles, the business module configured to determine a charging price;

one or more charge receiving vehicles each comprising a vehicle database and configured to communicate at least a vehicle payment price for the charging service to the communication module and further configured to receive the charging service from the base station;

wherein the business module at least compares the charging price with at least the vehicle payment price to determine if the charging service is offered;

wherein if the charging service is offered and the charging service is accepted by at least one of the one or more charge receiving vehicles, the charging service is provided and the at least one of the one or more charge receiving vehicles is charged.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the database comprises charging price data, charging configuration data, and charging rate data.

3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the communications module at least communicates charging pricing data to the one or more charge receiving vehicles.

4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more charging vehicles are a plurality of charging vehicles of first count, the business model assessing the first count in determining if the charging service is offered.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the communications module is configured to broadcast an availability of the base charging system to provide a charging service.

6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the one or more charge receiving vehicles are configured to receive the charging service by way of induction.

7 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the one or more charge receiving vehicles are further configured to communicate vehicle charging configuration data to the communications module.

8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more charge receiving vehicles are further configured to provide an electronic financial payment to the charging base station.

9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the one or more charging vehicles are a plurality of charging vehicles, and wherein the charging price is a plurality of charging prices.

10 . A method of group charging comprising:

providing a base charging system comprising a database, a communications module and a business module, the communications module in communication with one or more charge receiving vehicles, the business module configured to determine a nominal charging price, the base charging station configured to provide a charging service to the one or more charge receiving vehicles;

determining, by a microprocessor in communication with the business module, a nominal charging price to provide a charging service to one or more charge receiving vehicles;

broadcasting, by a microprocessor in communication with the communications module, an availability of the charging service to the one or more charge receiving vehicles;

receiving, by the microprocessor in communication with the communications module, a vehicle payment price for the charging service from at least one of the one or more charge receiving vehicles; and

comparing, by the microprocessor in communication with the business module, the nominal charging price with at least the vehicle payment price to determine if the charging service is offered;

wherein if the charging service is offered and the charging service is accepted by at least one of the one or more charge receiving vehicles, the charging service is provided and the at least one of the one or more charge receiving vehicles is charged.

11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the one or more charge receiving vehicles each comprise a vehicle database and are each configured to communicate at least the vehicle payment price for the charging service to the communication module and further configured to receive the charging service from the base station.

12 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the database comprises charging price data, charging configuration data, and charging rate data.

13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the one or more charging vehicles are a plurality of charging vehicles of first count, the business model assessing the first count in determining if the charging service is offered.

14 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the broadcast of the availability of the base charging system to provide a charging service comprises a directed transmission to at least one of the one or more charge receiving vehicles.

15 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the one or more charge receiving vehicles are configured to receive the charging service by way of induction.

16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the one or more charge receiving vehicles are further configured to communicate vehicle charging configuration data to the communications module.

17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the one or more charge receiving vehicles are further configured to provide an electronic financial payment to the charging base station.

18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the one or more charging vehicles are a plurality of charging vehicles, and wherein the charging price is a plurality of charging prices.

19 . The method of claim 11 , wherein if the charging service is offered and the charging service is not accepted by at least one of the one or more charge receiving vehicles, the nominal charging price is reduced and the charging service is offered at the reduced price.

20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the one or more charging vehicles are a plurality of charging vehicles.
