PORTION CAPSULE HAVING AN IDENTIFIER

1 . Portion capsule for producing a beverage, comprising a base element having a cavity in which a beverage raw material is provided the base element comprising a flange, wherein the base element is closed by a membrane fastened to the base element, further comprising an identifier to individualize the respective portion capsule, wherein the identifier is an optically detectable identification provided in the membrane, the optically detectable identification comprising recesses and bulges.

2 . Portion capsule according to claim 1 , wherein the recesses and bulges are deep drawn.

3 . Portion capsule according to claim 1 , wherein the optically detectable identification is a layer or a partial layer of the membrane.

4 . Portion capsule according to claim 1 , wherein a built-in element has an identifier.

5 . Portion capsule according to claim 1 , wherein the membrane comprises a barrier layer.

6 . Portion capsule according to one of the claim 1 , wherein the flange is averted from the bottom area in order to attach the membrane to the base element, wherein the wall region that is located between the bottom area and the flange comprises a border.

7 . Portion capsule according to claim 6 , wherein the base element has an enlarged diameter in the border's region compared to the one of the wall region between the border and the bottom area.

8 . Portion capsule according to one of the claim 6 , wherein the base element tapers in the direction of the flange in the border's region.

9 . Portion capsule according to claim 1 wherein a filter element, which divides the cavity into a first region for accommodating the beverage raw material and a second region for accommodating a beverage extract, is arranged within the cavity.

10 . Portion capsule according to claim 9 , wherein the filter element is made of a non-woven material.

11 . Use of a portion capsule according to claim 1 for preparing a hot beverage.
