Abstract

A composite cable includes an electric cable including two unshielded power wires, each of which includes a center conductor covered with an insulation, the electric cable being configured to be connected to an electric parking brake mechanism for preventing rotation of wheels after stopping a vehicle, a sensor cable including two unshielded signal wires, each of which includes a center conductor covered with an insulation, the sensor cable being configured to be connected to an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) sensor for measuring a rotation speed of the wheels during running of the vehicle, and a common outer sheath formed by extrusion molding and collectively covering the electric cable and the sensor cable. The two unshielded signal wires contact each other. An outer diameter of each of the power wires is different from an outer diameter of each of the two unshielded signal wires.
