Abstract

Compounds of the present invention and pharmaceutically acceptable compositions thereof, are useful as modulators of ATP-Binding Cassette (“ABC”) transporters or fragments thereof, including Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator (“CFTR”). The present invention also relates to methods of treating ABC transporter mediated diseases using compounds of the present invention.

Claims (10)

1. A method of treating cystic fibrosis comprising administering to a patient

(i) a compound of the formula:

 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and

(ii) a compound that is a cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) potentiator.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) potentiator is N-(5-hydroxy-2,4-ditert-butyl-phenyl)-4-oxo-1H-quinoline-3-carboxamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

3. A pharmaceutical composition comprising

(i) a compound of the formula:

 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;

(ii) a compound that is a cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) potentiator; and

(iii) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
