Abstract

A chargeable communication module is provided, which includes a wireless power charging coil; first and second wireless communication coils, which are respectively electrically isolated from the wireless power charging coil; and a magnetic sheet. The wireless power charging coil is disposed on a surface of the magnetic sheet. The first and second wireless communication coils are adjacent to and outside of the wireless power charging coil. At least a portion of the first wireless communication coil is disposed on the surface of the magnetic sheet. At least a portion of the second wireless communication coil is disposed on the surface of the magnetic sheet.

Claims (28)

1. A chargeable communication module comprising:

a wireless power charging coil;

first and second wireless communication coils, which are respectively electrically isolated from the wireless power charging coil; and

a magnetic sheet;

wherein the wireless power charging coil is disposed on a surface of the magnetic sheet, and

the first and second wireless communication coils are adjacent to and outside of the wireless power charging coil, at least a portion of the first wireless communication coil is disposed on the surface of the magnetic sheet, and at least a portion of the second wireless communication coil is disposed on the surface of the magnetic sheet.

2. The chargeable communication module according to claim 1 , wherein the first wireless communication coil is configured to perform communication by electromagnetic induction.

3. The chargeable communication module according to claim 1 , wherein the wireless power charging coil has a first resonant frequency and the first wireless communication coil has a second resonant frequency different from the first resonant frequency.

4. The chargeable communication module according to claim 3 , wherein the first resonant frequency of the wireless power charging coil is lower than the second resonant frequency of the first wireless communication coil.

5. The chargeable communication module according to claim 1 , wherein a power transfer frequency of the wireless power charging coil is different from a communication frequency of the second wireless communication coil.

6. The chargeable communication module according to claim 1 , wherein the wireless power charging coil and the first and second wireless communication coils are conductive wiring patterns formed on a substrate.

7. The chargeable communication module according to claim 1 , wherein a number of turns of the wireless power charging coil is greater than a number of turns of the first wireless communication coil.

8. The chargeable communication module according to claim 7 , wherein the number of turns of the wireless power charging coil is greater than a number of turns of the second wireless communication coil.

9. The chargeable communication module according to claim 1 , wherein the wireless power charging coil is formed in an oval shape or a circular shape.

10. The chargeable communication module according to claim 1 , wherein the wireless power charging coil is formed to define an internal hollow portion surrounded by the wireless power charging coil.

11. The chargeable communication module according to claim 10 , wherein the internal hollow portion has an oval shape or a circular shape.

12. The chargeable communication module according to claim 10 , wherein the largest linear dimension of the internal hollow portion is greater than 15.5 mm.

13. The chargeable communication module according to claim 10 , wherein the magnetic sheet has a raised portion that faces the internal follow portion of the wireless power charging coil.

14. A mobile terminal comprising:

a chargeable communication module including a wireless power charging coil; first and second wireless communication coils, which are respectively electrically isolated from the wireless power charging coil; and a magnetic sheet; wherein the wireless power charging coil is disposed on a surface of the magnetic sheet, and the first and second wireless communication coils are adjacent to and outside of the wireless power charging coil, at least a portion of the first wireless communication coil is disposed on the surface of the magnetic sheet, and at least a portion of the second wireless communication coil is disposed on the surface of the magnetic sheet, the chargeable communication module having a substantially planar shape;

a battery pack having a substantially planar shape and configured to store power from the chargeable communication module; and

a circuit board substrate configured to control operation of the mobile terminal.

15. The mobile terminal according to claim 14 , wherein the wireless charging module overlaps with the battery pack.

16. The mobile terminal according to claim 15 , wherein the magnetic sheet overlaps with the battery pack.

17. The mobile terminal according to claim 14 , wherein the first wireless communication coil is configured to perform communication by electromagnetic induction.

18. The mobile terminal according to claim 14 , wherein the wireless power charging coil has a first resonant frequency and the first wireless communication coil has a second resonant frequency different from the first resonant frequency.

19. The mobile terminal according to claim 14 , wherein a power transfer frequency of the wireless power charging coil is different from a communication frequency of the second wireless communication coil.

20. The mobile terminal according to claim 14 , wherein the wireless power charging coil and the first and second wireless communication coils are conductive wiring patterns formed on a substrate.
