Abstract

To provide a composition for a heat cycle system, which comprises a working fluid for heat cycle which has a low global warming potential and high stability, and which can replace R410A, and a heat cycle system employing the composition. A composition for a heat cycle system, which comprises a working fluid for heat cycle containing trifluoroethylene, and a stabilizer for preventing deterioration of the working fluid for heat cycle, such as an oxidation resistance-improving agent, a heat resistance-improving agent or a metal deactivator, and a heat cycle system employing the composition for a heat cycle system.

Claims (12)

1. A composition for a heat cycle system, comprising:

a working fluid for heat cycle comprising: trifluoroethylene; difluoromethane; and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene or 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene;

a refrigerant oil; and

a stabilizer for preventing deterioration of the working fluid for heat cycle, comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of 1,4-benzoquinone, phenothiazine, and 3-methoxyphenol.

2. The composition for a heat cycle system according to claim 1 , which contains the stabilizer in an amount of at least 1 mass ppm.

3. The composition for a heat cycle system according to claim 1 , wherein the refrigerant oil is at least one member selected from an ester refrigerant oil, an ether refrigerant oil, a polyglycol oil and a hydrocarbon refrigerant oil.

4. The composition for a heat cycle system according to claim 1 , wherein the proportion of trifluoroethylene is at least 10 mass % based on the working fluid for heat cycle.

5. The composition for a heat cycle system according to claim 4 , wherein the proportion of trifluoroethylene is from 20 to 80 mass % based on the working fluid for heat cycle.

6. The composition for a heat cycle system according to claim 4 , wherein the proportion of difluoromethane is at least 20 mass % based on the working fluid for heat cycle.

7. The composition for a heat cycle system according to claim 1 , wherein the refrigerant oil comprises at least one selected from pentaerythritol octanoate nonanoate, a copolymer of ethyl vinyl ether and isobutyl vinyl ether, a compound obtained by methyl-etherifying both terminals of polypropylene glycol, and an alkylbenzene.

8. A heat cycle system, which employs the composition for the heat cycle system as defined in claim 1 .

9. The heat cycle system according to claim 8 , which is a refrigerating apparatus, an air-conditioning apparatus, a power generation system, a heat transport apparatus or a secondary cooling machine.
