SYSTEM FOR COSMETIC AND THERAPEUTIC TRAINING
Systems and methods are disclosed for an apparatus and method for practicing injection techniques through an injectable apparatus. The injectable apparatus may contain a camera that is configured to detect the intensity and color of light attenuated from a testing tool after it is injected into a simulated human or animal body parts. A training tool may be connected to a user display device to generate a display of the injection apparatus as well as the performance parameters of a trainee.
1 . (canceled)
2 . A method of rating an injector, the method comprising:
injecting an injection apparatus at a first injection location using a testing tool;
detecting at least one injection parameter of the injection, the at least one injection parameter comprising detecting a three-dimensional location of the testing tool in the injection apparatus during the injection;
compiling injection parameters from multiple injections by the injector at the first location; and
determining a first rating of the injector from the injection parameters from the multiple injections at the first location.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the injector is a primary care physician, dentist, veterinarian, nurse practitioner, nurse, physician's assistant, aesthetic spa physician, plastic surgeon, facial plastic surgeon, oculoplastic surgeon, or dermatologist.
4 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the rating provides an indication of an accuracy of the injector.
5 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the rating provides an indication of an estimated skill level of the injector.
6 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the rating provides an indication of a number of injections performed by the injector.
7 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the rating is publically published.
8 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:
injecting the injection apparatus at a second injection location using a testing tool, the second injection location being different from the first injection location;
detecting at least one injection parameter of the injection at the second location;
compiling injection parameters from multiple injections by the injector at the second location; and
determining a second rating of the injector from the injection parameters from the multiple injections at the second location.
9 . A method of rating injections, the method comprising:
injecting an injection apparatus using a testing tool;
detecting at least one injection parameter of the injection, the at least one injection parameter comprising detecting a three-dimensional location of the testing tool in the injection apparatus during the injection;
compiling injection parameters from multiple injectors; and
determining an average rating of the multiple injectors from the injection parameters.
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the average rating provides an indication of an effectiveness of a treatment.
11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the average rating provides an indication of risks associated with a treatment.
