Abstract

A vehicle air conditioner includes a first duct, a second duct, and a third duct. The first duct has a first ventilation opening that is disposed on first side in a width direction of a seat provided in a vehicle. The second side is opposite side of the first side. The second duct has a second ventilation opening that is disposed on second side in the width direction of the seat. The third duct has a third ventilation opening that is disposed in front of the seat.

Claims (56)

1 . A vehicle air conditioner, comprising:

a first duct having a first ventilation opening that is disposed on first side in a width direction of a seat provided in a vehicle;

a second duct having a second ventilation opening that is disposed on second side in the width direction of the seat, the second side being opposite side of the first side; and

a third duct having a third ventilation opening that is disposed in front of the seat.

2 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein

the first ventilation opening is provided on the seat, or provided separately from the seat, and

the second ventilation opening is provided on the seat, or provided separately from the seat.

3 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein

one of the first duct and the second duct discharges an airflow,

the other of the first duct and the second duct introduces the airflow discharged from the one of the first duct and the second duct, and

the third duct introduces the airflow discharged from the one of the first duct and the second duct.

4 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein

the first duct and the second duct each discharge an airflow, and

the third duct introduces the airflow discharged from each of the first duct and the second duct.

5 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 3 , wherein

the seat includes a seating section, and

a flow rate of the airflow discharged from one of the first duct and the second duct is at a velocity that allows the airflow to travel toward the seating section and fall onto the seating section after the airflow is discharged from the one of the first duct and the second duct.

6 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 4 , wherein

the seat includes a seating section, and

a flow rate of the airflow discharged from each of the first duct and the second duct is at a velocity that allows the airflow to travel toward the seating section and fall onto the seating section after the airflow is discharged from the each of the first duct and the second duct.

7 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 3 , wherein

the vehicle includes a toe board and a dashboard, and

the third ventilation opening is provided at a lower part of the dashboard, or provided on the toe board.

8 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 4 , wherein

the vehicle includes a toe board and a dashboard, and

the third ventilation opening is provided at a lower part of the dashboard, or provided on the toe board.

9 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 3 , further comprising a temperature controller provided inside a console box disposed in the vehicle, wherein

the first duct and the second duct are each coupled to the temperature controller, and

the airflow discharged from the one of the first duct and the second duct is warmed by the temperature controller.

10 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 4 , further comprising a temperature controller provided inside a console box disposed in the vehicle, wherein

the first duct and the second duct are each coupled to the temperature controller, and

the airflow discharged from the each of the first duct and the second duct is warmed by the temperature controller.

11 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 9 , wherein the third duct is coupled to the temperature controller.

12 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 10 , wherein the third duct is coupled to the temperature controller.

13 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 3 , wherein a flow rate of the airflow discharged from the one of the first duct and the second duct is within a range from 0.01 meters per second to 6 meters per second.

14 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 4 , wherein a flow rate of the airflow discharged from the each of the first duct and the second duct is within a range from 0.01 meters per second to 6 meters per second.

15 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein

the first duct discharges a first airflow, the second duct discharges a second airflow, and the third duct discharges a third airflow,

the seat includes a seating section,

the first airflow and the second airflow merge with each other above the seating section to remain above the seating section, and

the third airflow causes the first airflow and the second airflow that remain above the seating section to travel upward.

16 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 15 , wherein

a flow rate of the first airflow is at a velocity that allows the first airflow to travel toward the seating section and fall onto the seating section after the first airflow is discharged from the first duct,

a flow rate of the second airflow is at a velocity that allows the second airflow to travel toward the seating section and fall onto the seating section after the second airflow is discharged from the second duct, and

a flow rate of the third airflow is higher than the flow rate of each of the first airflow and the second airflow.

17 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 15 , wherein

the seat includes a backrest section attached to the seating section, and

the first ventilation opening and the second ventilation opening are each provided on the backrest section.

18 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 15 , wherein the third ventilation opening has a width substantially same as a width of the seat.

19 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 15 , wherein a flow rate of the third airflow is switchable between a flow rate that is higher than a flow rate of each of the first airflow and the second airflow and a flow rate that is lower than the flow rate of each of the first airflow and the second airflow.

20 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 15 , further comprising a temperature controller provided inside a console box disposed in the vehicle, wherein

the first duct is coupled to the temperature controller, and the first airflow is cooled by the temperature controller, and

the second duct is coupled to the temperature controller, and the second airflow is cooled by the temperature controller.

21 . The vehicle air conditioner according to claim 15 , wherein

a flow rate of the first airflow is within a range from 0.01 meters per second to 6 meters per second, and

a flow rate of the second airflow is within a range from 0.01 meters per second to 6 meters per second.
