Abstract

A secondary battery is provided. The secondary battery includes a cathode; an anode; and an electrolytic solution, wherein the anode comprises an anode active material layer, wherein the anode active material layer comprises a carbon material, wherein the anode active material layer has a thickness from about 40 micrometers to about 100 micrometers, and wherein the electrolytic solution comprises an unsaturated cyclic ester carbonate represented by Formula (2): where R5 and R6 are selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen group, an alkyl group, an alkyne group, and an aryl group.

Claims (54)

1. A secondary battery comprising:

a cathode;

an anode; and

an electrolytic solution,

wherein the anode comprises an anode active material layer,

wherein the anode active material layer comprises a carbon material,

wherein the anode active material layer has a thickness from about 30 micrometers to about 100 micrometers,

wherein the electrolytic solution comprises an unsaturated cyclic ester carbonate represented by Formula (1-16):

wherein a volume density of the anode active material layer ranges from greater than or equal to 1.4 grams per cubic centimeter to less than 1.6 grams per cubic centimeter, and

wherein a content of the unsaturated cyclic ester carbonate in the electrolytic solution is from about 0.01 wt % to about 5 wt %.

2. An electronic apparatus comprising an electric power supply source including the secondary battery according to claim 1 .

3. An electric power tool comprising:

a secondary battery according to claim 1 ; and

a movable section being supplied with electric power from the secondary battery.

4. A battery pack comprising:

a secondary battery according to claim 1 ;

a control section controlling a used state of the secondary battery; and

a switch section switching the used state of the secondary battery according to an instruction of the control section.

5. An electric power storage system comprising:

a secondary battery according to claim 1 ;

one or more electric devices supplied with electric power from the secondary battery; and

a control section controlling the supplying of the electric power from the secondary battery to the one or more electric devices.

6. An electric vehicle comprising:

a secondary battery according to claim 1 ;

a conversion section converting electric power supplied from the secondary battery into drive power;

a drive section operating according to the drive power; and

a control section controlling a used state of the secondary battery.

7. A secondary battery comprising:

a cathode;

an anode; and

an electrolytic solution,

wherein the anode comprises an anode active material layer,

wherein the anode active material layer comprises a carbon material,

wherein the anode active material layer has a thickness from about 30 micrometers to about 100 micrometers,

wherein the electrolytic solution comprises an unsaturated cyclic ester carbonate represented by Formula (1-18):

wherein a volume density of the anode active material layer ranges from greater than or equal to 1.4 grams per cubic centimeter to less than 1.6 grams per cubic centimeter, and

wherein a content of the unsaturated cyclic ester carbonate in the electrolytic solution is from about 0.01 wt % to about 5 wt %.

8. An electronic apparatus comprising an electric power supply source including the secondary battery according to claim 7 .

9. An electric power tool comprising:

a secondary battery according to claim 7 ; and

a movable section being supplied with electric power from the secondary battery.

10. A battery pack comprising:

a secondary battery according to claim 7 ;

a control section controlling a used state of the secondary battery; and

a switch section switching the used state of the secondary battery according to an instruction of the control section.

11. An electric power storage system comprising:

a secondary battery according to claim 7 ;

one or more electric devices supplied with electric power from the secondary battery; and

a control section controlling the supplying of the electric power from the secondary battery to the one or more electric devices.

12. An electric vehicle comprising:

a secondary battery according to claim 7 ;

a conversion section converting electric power supplied from the secondary battery into drive power;

a drive section operating according to the drive power; and

a control section controlling a used state of the secondary battery.
