Abstract

A system, method, and wireless earpieces for determining the status of the user. Sensor measurements of the user are performed utilizing a radar sensor of the wireless earpieces. The sensor measurements are analyzed. The status of the user is determined utilizing at least the sensor measurements of the radar sensor of the wireless earpieces. An alert is communicated to the user in response to there being a change in the status of the user.

Claims (25)

1. A method for determining a status of a user utilizing wireless earpieces, comprising:

performing sensor measurements of a user utilizing at least a radar sensor of the wireless earpieces, wherein the radar sensor is oriented to detect movement of a tympanic membrane of the user while the user is wearing the wireless earpieces;

wherein the performing sensor measurements is triggered in response to a change in user orientation of the user;

analyzing the sensor measurements; and

determining the status of the user utilizing at least sensor measurements from the radar sensor of the wireless earpieces.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the analyzing comprises:

measuring deviations of the sensor measurements over time, identifying trends associated with the sensor measurements, and comparing the sensor measurements to control data for the user.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein the sensor measurements further include lidar measurements from a lidar sensor.

4. A wireless earpiece comprising:

a processor for executing a set of instructions; and

a memory for storing the set of instructions, wherein the set of instructions are executed to:

perform sensor measurements of a user utilizing a radar sensor of the wireless earpiece, wherein the radar sensor is integrated with the processor and oriented to detect movement of a tympanic membrane of the user while the user is wearing the wireless earpiece;

wherein the performance of the sensor measurements are triggered in response to a change in user orientation of the user;

analyze the sensor measurements; and

determine the status of the user utilizing at least sensor measurements from the radar sensor of the wireless earpiece.

5. The wireless earpieces of claim 4 , wherein the set of instructions are further executed to:

analyze the sensor measurements by measuring deviations over time,

identify trends associated with the sensor measurements, and

compare the sensor measurements to control data for the user.

6. A method for determining a status of a user utilizing wireless earpieces, comprising:

performing sensor measurements of a user utilizing at least a radar sensor of the wireless earpieces, wherein the radar sensor is oriented to detect movement of a tympanic membrane of the user while the user is wearing the wireless earpieces;

wherein the radar sensor is configured to map a topography of the tympanic membrane of the user;

analyzing the sensor measurements, wherein the topography of the tympanic membrane Is used to identify the user; and

determining the status of the user utilizing at least sensor measurements from the radar sensor of the wireless earpieces.

7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the topography is a three-dimensional topography.
