USER INTERFACE SYSTEMS FOR HEAD-WORN COMPUTERS
Head-worn computers may include a strain gauge adapted to measure strain on an area mounted on the head-worn computer. The strain gauge may be associated with a processor, the processor adapted to interpret strain measurements from the strain gauge and to control an aspect of a software application operating on the head-worn computer.
1 . A head-worn computer, comprising:
a strain gauge adapted to measure strain on an area mounted on the head-worn computer; and
the strain gauge associated with a processor, the processor adapted to interpret strain measurements from the strain gauge and to control an aspect of a software application operating on the head-worn computer.
2 . The head-worn computer of claim 1 , wherein the strain gauge includes a physical feature indicative of an area for user interaction.
3 . The head-worn computer of claim 2 , wherein the physical feature is a plurality of features indicative of different user controls, wherein the processor is adapted to control a different aspect of the software application based on which of the plurality of features is indicating user interaction.
4 . The head-worn computer of claim 1 , wherein the processor interprets a scroll action when the strain gauge measures a substantially linear swipe.
